i drive a gas guzzler. LIKE A TRUE AMERICAN. 2001 Grand-AM GT Turbo! turbo charged ,fuel injected and RAM air. it sips gallons of gas like its koolaid. about 100$ a week on gas. XD take that hippies. and i dont recycle.
wow - did you, like, miss the HUGE conference in paris just a few days ago where the WORLDS leading scientist agreed that it is becasue of man? Seriously, where do you live that you don't know about that summit? You can't just throw around thoughts and claim them as fact. And even if it was the small minority that believes against your views, common knowledge is not always correct. It used to be that a "small minority" of people thought the world was round, idiots, eh?
Seems fair.you can sit in a traffic jam at 5.15 pm just as well in a compact car as you can in an SUV,and use less gas into the bargain. and everyone wont think you're a socially irresponsible twat trying to copensate for something.
You don't understand that some people genuinely feel this way, and not because Greenpeace says so. When will you understand that driving a SUV makes you look uneducated? You think its all propaganda and deception. You think its all driven by these 'money grubbing' evangelist environmentalist organizations. What you forget is that for some people educating themselves is more important than money. Shame on you. Go back to school. Sign up for a physics course or a geo-systems course, please!
sounds like some one needs to consider the advice they just gave...
The planet is oozing with fossil fuels. The Ozone layer is NOT effected by humanity. The SUN heats the earth. The only reason gas is so high is because of the organizations that control the tap. Not because of war. Not because we're running out, but because ye ole turkey neck and his cronies are greedy bastards.
The amount of CO2 released by humanity is in the minute percentages. Less than .01%. A single volcano eruption releases more "greenhouse gases" in one day than all of humanity has in the past 200 years.
We have enough fossil fuels to last a really long time. We'll find a means of alternative fuels within the next few years, though we should have already.
So, please, Don't listen to Al Gore. Listen to real scientists. Pseudoscience runs wild in his crew.
co2 emissions for the USA is approaching 4.5 billion tonnes...volcanoes tend to eject so2 NOT co2 -pinatubo ejected 17 million tonnes in an eruption that was 10 times mt st helene's
I said "greenhouse gases", not limiting it to just SO2. Cows also release more. Again, humanity is a very small contributor. You should listen to the majority of scientists instead of the few who support this idea that humanity is the cause of all this.
yes, and volcanoes don't emit greenhouse gases - they emit so2 and other acidic gses and pyroclastes an ash. why do you think we have this many ciws - human consumption of beef and dairy. do i applaud greenpeace ? not one bit for that crap. but I also have opened up scientfic journals...based on the wrong answers so far I would guess that actually doing research isn't high on your list
Well whose research? It's the small minority that supports the idea that global climate change is effected by man. 30 years ago, scientists were screaming about Global Cooling. Where was man's machines years ago during the ice age? During the increase in climate in the days of Rome? The mini ice age during 17 and 1800s?
And yes, volcanoes do emit green house gases. After every major eruption, the climate goes up for a few years, if not a decade.
...I don't care. I'm fairly sure that this planet can support my lifestyle for the rest of MY life. What comes after...I don't care, because I won't be here.
Greenpeace sucks ass!
Not my prob if theyre gay little hippies that rather play with barbies and have no affinity for powerful machines and engines!

wikipedia volcanoes and look at "The effects of volcanoes". Water Vapor and CO2 is what is released the most during an eruption.
