(I am not sure of this) but i think he uses Blue or another type of fender strat like it for those 2 songs. He used a strat or an SG on Dookie and there earlier stuff. He only switched to Gibson Les Paul which he uses on American Idiot for american idiot. Again, i'm not sure. :P
