I'm a tad nervous to own a kindle.

I read a LOT and I usually buy books for as cheap as possible and when I get them I'm not too...err...CAREFUL with them, and I'm afraid I would break it

I think that's a valid point. If you're a little too rough with the Kindle it will break. On that one, a paperback book wins hands down.

OH lord... This is a bit ridiculous bit I was having aches of longing watching this.... It's a physical pain that I don't own a kindle....oh lord.

This made me laugh because when I opened mine (prior to seeing this video I should add) I too turned it on before plugging in the power cord (as suggested). I did this because (like most readers of the English Language) I started at the top of the screen and read from left to right and it said turn on power button - it wasn't until afterward that I noticed the bottom where it said plug it in. Of course they were numbered step one and step two but I ignored that and did top to bottom :-). Enjoy.
