Do you buy a glidetrack shooter sd or hd? Is a 7D with 24-70mm lense to heavy for a sd shooter? Does it wiggle if you use it on your shoulder? And then 0.5m? Can you use it on a tripod without deforming the bar? Thx :)
@lJackl Hi Jack. I bought the 0.5m SD shooter. It happy takes the 7D with the 24-70mm and a 701 HDV head. I've only used it on the shoulder once, and I wouldn't recommend it for this. Very uncomfortable. What can work though, is to hold it at each end (like hold a tray), this gives you a budget glidecam look (better than nothing :P). I'd say save the cash and get the normal (non shooter) version. It doesn't bend at all on a tripod too, 1m version does a little though...
@RossCharnock Thanks mate for your answer. I buyed a glidecam 2000 hd but send it back, because it is to heavy with 24-70 mm lense and a west with arm to expensive. :(
Why i should buy the normal version? It costs a only few dollars less and i can not arrange it angular (the shooter can with these plastic grips. :)
@lJackl I suppose the 'legs' are quiet useful sometimes... would be better though if he put them on both sides... If the money isn't really a problem then don't worry about it... Also buy/make a bag for it, or be very careful when taking it out of car boots (trunks), the slider can dent very easily :/
@lJackl I was going to get my sister to sew me a custom bag, but haven't gotten around to it... I guess I tripod bag could work... basically anything to keep the track getting bashed about...
what is the backgroung music?

@lovemyguitarlomo Placebo - Piero the clown if I remember. I just looped it so the lyrics don't come in.
