Well. I have this player for about 3 years. IMHO: there is only ONE disadvantige: there is no 120 (and above) Gb version :(. Now U can by it really cheap on the net. But it's worth every penny. Short info about my 30 GB version: firmware 1.10.01e, total capacity 28565 Mb, free space 2590 Mb, tracks 2879, pictures 10838, video files 403. Inside package: TV-OUT cable (works amazing), charger and nice software. And it still slide into a pocket (but bigger one).

hey dude please tell me... my music is trapped inside of my W i guess i some how deleted the DRIVER meaning i cant get it to be reconized on the the comp. when i plugg it in, no response! My ? is, if i by a compact flash card and put that in to my W can i transfer my music to the flash..i hope so. I can still play my music, but my screen cracked so im gonna get a new one. probably the x-fi but i cant get it on my comp to transfer it some one please help. will this work and if not what can i do..

musicrox301!! Do NOT make that mistake!! iPod's dont play avi, but zen's do. The zen vision on sale is 299 (30 gig)which is almost the same price as the 30 gig video but the zen is better. It has fm tuning built it man, and its widescreen. It's literally a portable entertainemtn system, other than the psp. Really, i dont like ipods at all, theyre ugly and they suck, GO ZEN!!

maybe because Zen came out 2 years after ipod... and ipod got the iphone now which kicks this. I know 3 people who have zens and they broke over 6 times each of them, the headphone inputs fuck up, the screen freezes, creative still has work to do

The ZVW has the PSP at memory. It all comes down to what you want. You want music and videos? Zen Vision: W. You want a REAL nice screen and video games, go for the PSP. I have the PSP and have used the ZVW. It all depends on what you want. They both have awesome screens.

The Psp may have a Nicer screen but it no where near as bright as the VIsion:W'

s. it also only plays games that are cpu intensive at around 262,000 colors. with such a small cpu on the PSP it would be VERY hard to play 24 bit games.

nice product, I own the older Zen Vision with the viewing angle problem.

What I learn is I'll wait until the price either drops, or they decide to add more to compete with newer stuff, like the Archos av700 with TV tuner, who knows, hopefully they'll add a tuner and lossless formats in a new model someday, I'll wait for that if it comes about.
