  • Great Exercises.

  • I would be happy just to be able to do this, let alone a fully-blown planche

  • ouch my wrists..lol

  • thanks, for showing I'm not alone, trying to mater that

  • you should lean more inside preferably

  • Really good work, good luck with your goals.

  • Hey man how much did you weight at the time?

  • at that time 82 KG.

I'm about 85 KG now, much harder with just a bit more weight on me.

  • no way? I'm guessing you're 6'4-6'5

  • no I'm not that tall (183cm)

  • well i think your body is too alittle bit heavy.

  • I be he can do planche pushups now, it has been almost a year.

  • nope, got injured from over training the planche last year. Didn't get back to it properly but still practice them. I think I had certain strength imbalances that caused the injuries, that and overdoing it on the planche progressions (several times a day at that time). When I start over, I'm going to focus on getting push/pull structure (probably deadlifting more) and core strength up before venturing off on the planche trail again.

  • oh man that sucks well i've been working on them for 3 months still no where near where you were at

  • was it your shoulders? I got plagued with shoulder injuries when training planch. Decided the same as you, become stronger before trying it.

  • I bet he can do planche pushups now, been almost a year.

  • go on!

  • Straighten those elbows! And get more room! (Good job!)

  • If straddle is too hard, try tucked to advanced tucked. In the advanced tucked position your legs are still bent, but you straighten you back as much as possible. Your knees should be pointing to the ground.

Good job on your progress so far!

  • agreed.

    nice job!

  • i kinda was hoping u wud hit your head in the first one lol

  • i've fallen on my head many times practicing that hold. Hence the mattress to land on should it happen again!
