What's sad is they never pushed the "Hulk Hogan, you can't do that" program harder so Curt could make PPV money from it. They brought in Zeus, who was ten times worse than Mr. T--even Savage couldn't carry him. Curt was a main event program waiting to happen, and never happened.

VERY underrated... however consistent injuries also kept him from getting his big push. i think he was out for 2-3 years once bc of a back injury? i could be wrong and correct me if i am. thats why he moved over to commentating during that time i believe.

@8Chancellor8 Ken Shamrock was great during his WWF run in the Attitude Era, up until he joined the Corporation. He had a great showing against the Rock at Wrestlemania 14. He had the look, and the gimmick. They just wouldn't put the strap on him at the next level, and I think that had to do with Vince wondering in the back of his mind if Ken would go back to UFC because wrestling was more of Ken's fall back unlike Brock Lesnar where wrestling was his base, and he moved on.

The sad truth is, It is TRUELY recognized that the talen in the late 80's, early 90's was the intercontinental, not the WWF champ. Texas Tornado, Mr Perfect, Bret Heart, those were the talent, Hulk Hogan, Ultimate Warrior, Macho Man (best of the three by far) were charismatic and could sell yellow ice to blue eskimos.

Today it is more of a story based drama show. If Dolph stepped back into time, faced Mr. Perfect, a man who went the distance with Bret Hart, I guarantee without any actions from ringside from anyone else, Ziggler would be in a very quick PerfectPlex!

@FridaysFever101 I enjoy wrestling, however, I am not ignorant to the fact it is an athletic dance. Bret Heart, and Curt Henning put on one heck of a show, one of the all time great performances. But most talent in WWE, in their prime, could pull off the show. Mr. Perfect has always been my favorite wrestler, just as Demolition (Ax and Smash) will always be my favorite tag team. Dolph now could easily put on the same show with a prime Bret Heart.
