FF4, 6 and 7 are the best IMO.

5th brought back level grinding (in 4th ur characters kept changing so it didn't really have any) in form of x-magic and x-attack, and every member of team has to have those ;-)

Also for some reason most music in FF5 is very repetitive and just bad :/

This is actually my most favorite Final Fantasy theme out of all of them, didn't really like the story though. FF IV was my favorite game and the battle music was my second favorite. then gilgamesh battle is my third and zeromus battle is my fourth fav. : )

Some of the music, like the Crystal theme or the short music when you win a battle, it has remained the same melody throughout the series. Maybe an idea to take a look at that for this top-100? :)

Meh, FFV was OK, a little light on story for me, but not bad. The battle theme is fine, there is a MUCH more memorable fight theme from this game which I'm sure will make your list somewhere. Something about a big bridge...
