Nice work, Dave. Canvas spin is a nice touch. Nevermind gsg80, I think the splash lines make it look like a real painting, authentic. Music is a good match, too. Posted to Facebook, hope it gets around for ya. :)
Right now Dave Santia is painting a picture. Right now I am commenting on Youtube. Right now Dave is painting fast and I am amazed.Right now I am listening to Van Halen w/ Sammy Hagar
@xxrockandrollgodxx A few reasons, actually. When I first started doing these speed paintings, the paint would run, and trying to stop it from running would cut into my time and I wasn't getting the paintings done fast enough. So, instead of trying to fight it, I kinda "joined it" and started whipping the paint at the canvas before touching the brushes to it. Most of the time, I whip it close to areas where I know I will need it. And, in the end, I liked the effect it had on the end result.
this is just amazing, i love it (:

just wondering, why do you like whip paint at your canvas first?
