But watch your 5th and 4th finger when you are playing chromatic scale. They might cause unnecessary tense if those are pointing up.

I am agree, very funny. The "tense" is a very academical concept that the greatest pianists don't apply. Aulikki writes as a conservatory piano student, whose teacher says " dont do that, it seems ugly" but it is effective, jajajajajajaja.

Academical concept or whatsoever. It seems like you can't think the piano playing as a technical achievement without people are start bragging about how wrong you are. Playing the piano is much more than just the technique, but without technique you can't play anything. Also technique is kinda vast subject anyway. I believe there are some kind of state where you are using only that much of energy as you need and not more than that. I don't believe you are losing anything when attempting that

especially when you might prevent injuries later. There are famous pianists who have lost their ability to play the piano because of wrong techniques. I don't understand why I posted that comment before, because this is best version of this piece in youtube. I believed that I might help him, without looking like a guy who think he is better than others, which I'm definitely not. But you got to be professor before you can argue somebody's technique even when you just wan't to help.
