@JohnBachofer Thanks, yes, some people in this hobby are purists and never mix railroads, or time periods... Me personally, I just like Trains.. any trains, all trains.. its a fun hobby.. I don't get too bogged down in the details.. Thanks for watching..
wow i remember when i was like 7 i really i really wanted some thomas hrony trains because i only had one set and that was harr potter but my parents said no
That is awesome! How did you convert the bachmann locos too DCC? I'm new to digital and have no idea how to put a decoder in the Bachmann Thomas range locos =S
Hi and Thanks.. if you go to the TCS DCC web page I have submitted photos for all my installations under the HO section, step by step instructions for Gordon and Henry also..
Thank you so kindly. I found them on there they will help me out a lot! I've never taken a model loco apart and the last thing I want to do is botch it up. I'll most likely do Thomas first as he is smaller and see how it goes.
No Problem.. They are all fairly straighforward. (Gordon and Henry were more involved..) I strongly recommend the TCS M1 decoder with BEMF (all new TCS decoders have it.) The M1 is small, and easily fits inside the locos.
On the install photos I used a T1 in Thomas, but have done several other Thomas' for friends using the M1... much easier to fit it in.
BEMF is for Back Electro Motive Feedback, and it makes the engines run far smoother and very reliably at low speeds... Good luck!
I have some Hornby decoders just because they were easier to get my hands on over here, I'm guessing all decoders are standard so I could still follow the web site you gave me to install them?
I was worried in case different brands of decoders used different coloured wires and I'd end up soldering the wrong ones and cutting the ones I needed short.
This is great! and @csvictory12, I would LOVE a Harry Potter train! Lol.

@MrJmaster198 Yes, they are all converted to DCC so you control each engine directly and can run as many as you want on one track.

Are they available in the UK?

Hi, Not sure about the UK.. any decoder should work, though I don't think the hornby ones will fit inside gordon and henry..
Each decoder should come with wiring instructions.. just make sure you insulate them after connecting and it should be fine..
