My gooood, the English song was... lets just say 'painful' is too nice a word to use. As for the voice-acting... wince-worthy, but the game is so very pretty and the story interesting, so alas i keep playing...

The song is beautiful and I love it but it doesn't fit, reminds me of a fanmade video where they put a song over random images. Aside from some sound effects that can barely be heard the beats or rhythem doesn't change at all. Such as when the entryway is blown open there hsould be a change in beats but it's smooth. That isn't good for a video (even though it's just a game opening)

I know, though I don't mind the intro to Tales of Vesperia seeing as it was the same music and the same singer (Bonnie Pink) who sang it. and I don't think the game was translated, I think they just threw in random words with poor voice acting like, I'm talk ears bleeding voice acting, the best voice was Calintz, but even he was just "ordinary" I mean it was like hearing an ordinary everyday person, nothing special, there was no emphasis, effort, or heart put into the voices.

magna carta gameplay blows. i can just control one character to use up all the timeframe and kill all enemies. others are pretty useless. and its very slow too! made me fall asleep playing this game.

artwork is pretty especially females and very fappable.lolol he doesn't know how to draw villains NOT to look like heroes, they all look like good guys. they don't look evil enough and even looked silly sometimes.

Personally, I like the Japanese opening better. The English one plain sucks because the lyrics were pretty damn retarded... "TEARS OF BLOOD TEARS OF BLOOD TEARS OF BLOOD" for half the damn song =(.

this game is awesome - saying this because i been playing adventures since shit i dun even know anymore but i like the gameplay(battle system) its not the same fuckwit battle system in FFseries(fuckin slash and wait the fuck's that bullshit) Chrono Trigger is better than FF in every way, too bad they jus don't have wat it takes to go on. Also, I tried watching this opening with the PS2 version's at the same time, so I could use this audio instead. They are COMPLETELY different. Atlus USA reedited the order of the scenes completely to fit that godawful song, from the looks of it.

Whoever approved a crappy opening like that hopefully no longer has a job in the audio department.

This is not Square-Enix, it's Atlus. Shut up and play the damn game and enjoy it. It's honestly better than FF12 just because it doesn't have a Cutscene every FOUR SECONDS. If you want constant cutscenes go play Metal Gear Solid 4.

Magna Carta was one of the best game I've ever played. I've played ALOT of games too. FF12 was a horrid Star Wars rip off. Magna Carta is kind of crappy in a few ways but storyline makes most people cry and the battle system is actually difficult as apposed to most games released.

From what I can tell, the english version lengthened parts of the op, like the opening cherry blossom scene with Reith. I don't like the english op too much, wish I they keep the original.

Oh, and another thing. The English OP surrounds the battle more than the romance theme, it ends with the queen being stuck and dropping her mask, where this one ends with Reith and Calintz then the dropping of the mask.

Excuse me, this game is Tears of blood, not Phantom of Avalanche. I was born in Korea and I know how different it is. First one doesnt have Reith or any of the Tears of Blood members. Second, I do like the first one better because the second english translation is so bad that it makes the whole game totally bad. You might think the first one is horroble but my opinion is that first one is way better.

It's TEARS OF BLOOD. For PS2. What you're talking about is PC version which REALLY SUCKED. Totally different storyline and game system. This one is better than Phantom of Avalanch, PC version.
