  • Nice bike...I've been riding all Winter nearly everyday here in Eastern, Washington. Had to cover the Sportster up for only two weeks when we had extensive snow and ice.

  • oh my god that looks cold

  • nice bike and like like the music lol

  • Bad ass bike, bad ass helmet. Scary tires though. Would knobbed ones clear the rear anyways?

  • Nice bike man. Bobbers are the sickest. Going to slowly build one. Nice.

  • hey man!

how cold was it?what did u wear how u were not freezing???

    nice bike anyway!!!

  • Dude you got cast iron ballz riding a rigid on those roads. Great bike

  • What size handlebars are those?

  • back before my last bike finally quit I rode year round. For about three years I didn't even own a car. And I'd do it again in a heartbeat! Once my next bike is done You won't be able to pry me off. I say ride on bud.

  • @michaelavanhoose also i should note that was in unpredictable kentucky weather, where it has been known to snow and sleet, and reach the high 80's in the same week. last time I rode in florida it was "chilly" and everybody was all leathered up and i was in a tee and jeans, haha.

  • Awesome bike keep up yhe good work

  • Awesome bike

  • I see you have the sawed off exhust to melt the ice for the back tire

  • nice easy rider helmet

  • Love the helmet. Fulmer V2? Great video and your bike has always been a favorite of mine on the forum - gotta watch more of your videos! - Xena @ XLF

  • your nighty looks sick bro! the winter is coming in in finland so i´m trying to look for inspiration on what to do with my nighty and you are the main supplier for that! thank you for that and thank you for your photobucket too!!

    YT: antti / finland

  • Now that's a rider. Not afraid of weather, nor getting the bike a bit dirty. Love it ! Kudos to ya dude.

  • Brass fn balls for riding in that shit brother....great sound!

  • Aces!!! Now, THAT, is a motorcycle!!!

    Thanks for the video.

    Al in Oklahoma.

  • ¡¡¡llooooɔ ʎpoolq ¡¡¡¡ ʎppnq ɥɐǝʎ

  • what a cool video. what was the air temp and how fast were you going?

  • How tall are your handlebars?

  • 12 inches

  • Only once in 43 years of bikes we had snow, rode from Sydney to a race meeting, up in the hills it hit us, sleet then snow. WE HAD NEVER RODE IN IT BEFORE IN AUSTRALIA. AND NOT HEAVY SNOW AT ALL. You Guys, I dont know how you do it. That little bit of snow and sleet sucked the heat right out of us.

Our biggest worry is overheating an air-cooled motor. We are spoilt. You take care huh?

  • thanks man for showing us your ignorance about riding. i wasnt trying to be a badass just showing the first ride of the season. and that last road had tons of black ice on it by the way. have you ever rode on ice with bias plys? didnt think so

  • holy fuck dude, i ride all winter down here in Florida, but i gotta admit when it starts getting into the 20's i start missing my old truck... you gots fucking balls to be riding around in the white stuff like that. Respect.

  • I give you MAD respect!!! I wouldn't call myself a fair-weather rider; however, you will NEVER catch me riding on snow or ice unless the next car is AT LEAST 10 miles away... LOL. I don't really like to ride in less than 30 degrees. I've been in Las Vegas, NV since 1988 so I'm used to as high as 125 degrees so you can probably understand why I don't like the cold. Sled on dawg!!!

  • Hells yeah, I live in Maine and their is always one crazy bastard out all winter long. When you gotta ride what the fuck are you supposed to do. I love the bike, cool vid.

  • That bike is bad ass! Just out of curiosity how tall are you?

  • 5'9

  • ballsy mother fucker! I've ridden in weather below 20 degrees but it was here in Florida so no snow and stuff, so I ain't got shit on you! Nice video, good camera work too. Quick question, do you have the tank lifted with that bracket they make? I've removed my wiring harness under the tank and relocated the ignition coil, but it still doesn't look quite as open as yours.

  • Awesome. If I didn't have the carbs pulled outta my bike I'd be out for a scoot in the winter too...we still have a good month and a half of winter left yet.

  • Fair weather riders are pussies! (good thing I'm in Ca, lol). Where in Alaska are you?

  • i live in Anchorage. i have 10 more months of this place!

  • right on. I have family in Anchorage.

  • No sh!t, I left Elmendorf about 10 months ago. I had a Nightster, never saw you around though. I got a video of it on my page.. I traded it in though for a Street Bob, riding in Florida these days.. Sweet ride by the way

  • Seen pics of your bike on the forums - great job and appreciate the uniqueness Good to see it in motion.

Is that the Fulmer V2 helmet? How do you like it? I'm contemplating a red one or the Daytona Cruiser.

  • no idea what brand it is. buddy found it in his dads shed from about 30 years ago. its dope

  • It's so funny you'd post this on my video as a response cuz that looks like a very familiar scene to me - I'm from Alaska before I moved to Phoenix!

I bet you got some looks, cuz when I lived there (high school years in Anchorage), I hardly EVER saw two wheelers around.

  • there is a guy up here in Fairbanks who rides his bike all winter, even at 40 below

pretty cool video i give it 5 stars :)

  • siamiam-

The cold is one thing (one thing I hate) but the icy roads is another. And other vehicles sliding into you.

I know Fairbanks gets way more snow than Anchorage does, but I think Anchorage got more black ice and for longer periods of time than Fairbanks. This is what I'd worry about. Too many times I remember sitting at an intersection and watching people spinning in circles right into an intersection. Scary when you're on two wheels.

I gave it 5 stars too.

  • most of the fairbanks winters have icy roads full of black ice :( it is usually too cold to snow for a lot of the winter yet the roads are slick x(

the ice fog,car exhaust what ever snow we may get etc just goes staright tot he roads and stays there because its usually way too cold to melt :( Anchorage has a much longer riding season as well

the best vehicle in winter is a dog sled team :)
