Wheaten Terrier Thinks He's A Cat

I love my wheaten, Barley (like wheat because of fur color). He is my best friend and is the most wonderful dog. Sometimes he can be such a goof. Though it never gets old when your watching a show and a doorbell rings (in the show) and Barley barks and looks at you enthusiastically thinking that someone has come to the house to play with him.

Wheatens are so silly. Bailey's favorite spot to sleep is squished behind the toilet with his head resting on the water pipe lol. He tries to fit underneath our beds but gets stuck and then starts howling because he can't get himself out lol.

I have two wheaten terriers. My male dog does sits on top of the couch like that all the time. That is his favorite spot in the house. He then looks out the window. I love my wheatens. They are the best, aren't they?

Ours does the same thing. When we brought her home at 8 weeks old we were worried about her with our 118 pound Labradoodle. From the time she hit the front door she RULED the house. Absolutely the best dog I have ever been around. Way too smart.

OH MY GOSH! Our Wheaten does the same thing! We ask her if she's a mountain lion! And it always looks like she's smiling back at us, just like your pup!
