  • I have used alton recipe a few times. The biggest issue is marinade time. I have found that 3-4 hours is the MAXIMUM you want to marinade it. It comes out really good this way.

  • Entertaining.. I think i'll suggest this to my family back in missouri.

  • beef jerky is the greatest invention in the world thumbs up if you agree.

  • 9:20 I WANT TO SHAVE MY EYEBROWS THEN PAINT THEM BACK ON! GHETTO.

  • lol i suggested smoke...just before you said you forgot it. still watching...t shirt?? oh i see..alton brown of it all.. good vanna white flurish at the end by your daughter..

  • if you throw in some liquid smoke..yummmy

  • I wasnt sure if that was your kid, then I seen your wife. Whoah not a bad looking woman you got there.

  • I used this recipe exactly, except I used a nesco dehydrator, I have to say, it came out tasting like hot soy sauce, it wasn't even remotely good. I had others try some and one guy out of a dozen said it wasn't horrible, but he didn't want anymore. If doing this, I highly recommend going with a pound to start. I just wasted 5lbs of flank & a bunch of ingredients, not to mention my time.

Sorry man, not trying to bust your balls, mine just came out horrible.

  • @justaguy777 I think the honey really offset the soy sauce in this blend of ingrediences.

  • lol the epitome of redneck engineering

  • Hey, thx for your recipe, but i just was noticing that at the 3 min. mark you started cutting the flank steak and was cutting it with the grain...Im wondering if it would have been better to cut it against the grain? thx

  • @rangatang0624 If you cut against the grain it will fall apart when it is dry .

  • I use London broil meat cut.

  • hey yall. one more queston for ya. How do yall make beef jerky with deer meat? I jjust wanna know if'n yall got a good reicpe. I see dead deers all the time on the sides of the roads up here where i live. Hey, it's free yall. But i need me a good beef jerky recipe for deer. Thanks you.

  • Hey, yall... Try stickin it inside the air condetioner vents in yer car. Then just leave it there while yall drive around town. After 3 to 4 days ya pull it out of the vents and it's delishous. Try fish for best results. Just kick off the plastic vents loovers with the bottom of yer boot heel and you can stick the meat in a belap tater sack. Just shove em in the vents and leave it there. But you gotta drive around quite a bit like if you got
