UGH. I hated this season so much. This girl is so talented and when you think of the total bores that did make it (Aaron, Tim, Paige, Katie) no wonder ppl hated this season so much.
I think they should change the voting status to just one vote per contestant and them charge them $.49 per vote for the remaining votes so that way the good contestants will stick around and not the mediocre contestants.
I was so pissed that Lilly didn't make the Top 12, she was my favorite female contestant after Crystal and Siobhan, she and Katelyn deserved the Top 12 much more than Paige and Lacey did IMO
America had a chance to make a great season. They really F'd it up the next week when they eliminated Katelyn and Lilly. Little did we know, we would be treated to some of the worst performances in Idol history when the big competition got under way.

She's a very talented woman but Crystal is by far the best not only of the season but ever on Idol! Idol is no longer about talented woman, this year made that clearer than ever. Idol is about 14 year old girls dialing 2000 times for four hours straight because they want to marry Lee. Idol has become a joke. Simon got out at just the right time. Lee couldn't hold a candle to so many of the women this year on Idol. He is a flatedged offkey average dude and Crystal was robbed completely!!
@LitZena Siobhan > Crystal. In every aspect; vocally, emotionally, artistically, and conceptually. That being said, Crystal is still good. Crystal was robbed of a win during top 2.

He doesn't like country or Indie music so he would most likely eliminate this type of performances. I love this girl and she would have been the perfect competitor for Crystal. There should be a limit like ten votes per household, or even better, adopt a ranking system where you show which was your favorite, second favorite, third favorite etc. Check out the vote fair site to see what I mean.
@shukigkato: The only reason a show like (Idol or DWTS) would allow more than one vote per individual (as it should be) is to inflate their shows, it's a sham. The only fair way is one person one vote period. But then they can't announce like they always do, "we received zillions of votes and here are the results". If we allowed that same crap in our elections there would be a big investigation.
I hope that Lilly Scott puts American Idol experience to use, and finds an Indie Label and produces her own unique music. Lilly just has one of those beautifully unique voices that comes around once in awhile, and most Popular she may not be, but still look forward to hearing from her in the future. You go Lilly!
I was so upset when she was voted off American Idol that I threw my Remote Control at the Wall! She is such a Unique lovely voice and the best next to Siobhan. I think problem with American Idol is this: the people that stay on show are the ones that are most popular with Young teenagers that vote 100s of times. I vote a few times for 5 or so times..Additionally, Simon Cowell is promoting Crystal Bowersox. So it will be down to Crystal And Siobhan as the last two girls on American Idol

Lilly, Alex and Katelyn are the only three people I even voted for this season and NONE of them made the finals. I was so p1ssed off not seeing talent recognized that I stopped watching altogether. From what I've heard the past two weeks have been completely horrible and all I have to say it "Good! That's exactly what America deserves for their idiotic voting!"

BTW, we know that at least 20 million people watch this show, but only 33 million votes were counted last Tuesday, what gives? I voted at least 200 times the day before Siobhan was eliminated, and some people vote 10000s of times with power texting. Obviously a ton of votes aren't counted, but which ones? Oh well, now that the top 2 are gone, I feel it's pointless to even vote, Crystal does deserve it though.

i liked her a lot, but this is american idol. when my niece was 8 she used to vote 20+ times a week, and guess who she voted for....the cute boy with the hair she liked who sang songs she knew the words to. thet's american idol in a nutshell. it's not fair to judge the american public's musical taste by that.

maybe have a look at casey's performance with the bryan adams song, it made me feel as if he was singing for me and this is what the viewers look for, as well as great song choices and musical abilities. crystal has a big, strong voice so when she gives it her all she has the ability to touch us simply because of the tone and versatility. you have a sweet, tender voice, with jazzy qualities so you need to give a little more of yourself to the viewer for as long as you're on tv.

Alex Lambert also should've gotten a spot instead of Aaron (I see many guys every year in our talent show who sing like this kid, he's nothing special) or Tim (who is only voted through by stupid 12 year old girls who only vote for looks....THATS WHAT I HATE ABOUT IDOL)

@Johnnyp7 I agree she should have gotten into the top 12, but not over Didi (She's top 3 in my opinion). But def over Lacy, Paige, Katie - in that order. I also agree with you on Aaron and Tim. Tim is the "vote for the worst contestant" this year.

If Lilly had a sick family member or cute curly hair or if she could cry on cue she'd still be in the competition. That's how the voting public chooses people on this show. Lilly will be better off doing her own thing. At least "industry people" seem to like her. Anyway fuck this show....

I really dig her....shes not my usual cup of tea but she has a unique style and I loved watching her perform...Theres only 2 other girls in the top 6 that Id put above her and would pay to watch...the rest are fodder.

i liked her a lot, but this is american idol. when my niece was 8 she used to vote 20+ times a week, and guess who she voted for....the cute boy with the hair she liked who sang songs she knew the words to. thet's american idol in a nutshell. it's not fair to judge the american public's musical taste by that.

Personally I think Siobhan is a better singer than many of the girls'. And I love the fact that her voice is so powerful and soulful.
But maybe she isn't unique enough to be considered special to most others . . .

I adore the tracks that she picks, fitting for her style and sound. A little more bending backwards and she could very well compete with Siobhan and Crystal, who yes, I agree, are the only two so far who have really Wow!ed. I believe Lilly can work on strengthening her stage presence and vocals; When she does she'd def give the other two girls a total challenge. ♥ Lilly!

maybe have a look at casey's performance with the bryan adams song, it made me feel as if he was singing for me and this is what the viewers look for, as well as great song choices and musical abilities. crystal has a big, strong voice so when she gives it her all she has the ability to touch us simply because of the tone and versatility. you have a sweet, tender voice, with jazzy qualities so you need to give a little more of yourself to the viewer for as long as you're on tv.

if you stay cool as you are i'd by your album. i think if you take on big hits and make them you're own,
you have a good chance. you, like andrew garcia , are a true musician and have the ability to make even relatively superficial songs into something deep and exciting, i'd love to see you do an emotional , heartbreacking song because there's still something reserved and distant about you and that might jeopardize your chance in the competition. touch us viewers.
