you should research the genus and get some more experience efore you start misleading hundreds of people. I would neve put a uro in a 10,20,40 gallon tank not even a baby.you are disrupting the acclimation and stunting their growth.
you are a very irresponsible owner. you should have enough space in each "zone" not just getting a few readings on the thermometer. I am curious what your basking "surface ir temp gun readout is" most likely not the temp required. Also you go to great lengths to cover the glass because of stress. there is nothing more stressful then being in a small enclosure.
dude awesome uros. I had a very nice WC Red Saharan uro but unfortunately she was just toosick to survive and she died, after only being with me for a week. I am getting another one next week though. Good luck with yours!
awesome man. Uro's are awesome we have a mali.. the Saharan uros are one of my favs. that male is amazing! One thing i need to work on is taming our uro, we have had him since december but lately hes being so as friendly as b4. but awesome new additions
i know i need to start taming them, but i dont want to mess with them since they are WC and were just shipped...i want them to settle in and get used to me going in the mornings and putting food. and i dont want to start handling them until they dont run when i pass by the cage. i dont want them to feel like they are "being captured" evry other day...but i will get to that

Ya, but not temporarily. I'm gonna be moving mine into a huge plastic tank thingy. It's hard to explain. It's the kind they put chemicles in for spraying fields. My Dad farms, so yeah.
