  • Jeff,

My peticular power companies website states (amongst numerous red tape hoops) that all power generation devices tied to their grid must be approved by Underwriter Labratories, do your products meet that standard?

  • @armwrastl The Outback is UL approved and pass all inspections.

    Jeff

  • stick some mirrors below the solar air heaters!

  • thanks again jeff superb

  • thank you the only thing now is trying to get these to work in the uk ie 230v @50hz

  • @caravanman08 Outback makes a 50hz model

  • hello jeff can you please tell me if the panels are 12volt or 24 volt and are the wired in series to the outback thanks for the vids keep em comin

  • @caravanman08 there 24 volt in series.

    thanks, jeff

  • Great video. Is it possible to hook up the out back grid tie inverter without the charge controller if i dnt want to be on a battery bank and do i need a disconnect box if i decide to do it this way?

  • hi heff did you say a 220v breaker? isnt is a 110v breaker for one? I think you said 220amp breaker at 60 amps. thanks for your help!!

  • @TheSmaldo yes, a 220 volt breaker, 60 amp , that's what the manual calls for.

  • Good Video, I've gathered some information that was helpful thanks!

  • Thank you for taking the time to do the video. I'm thinking about going solar. I'm looking at building my own panels. I really like the grid tie with battery back up. "Out back" 3600. Another youtube said that you need a controller still with this out back unit so you don't blow up you batteries. Could you talk a little more about the batterys and how to do them in parallel.

  • @trisem1

we are going to do a video on batteries soon.

  • I am an oldie in age but a newbie to solar and wind power who has found a new passion to begin using both and promoting what you offer to help others. It would be very helpful for many of us if you could recommend the types of batteries to be used for a battery bank in a separate short video. Thanks! Jim

  • @homesandlandpa We can do that. we'll start on something.

  • Great Video Jeff

You Are Number One In My book

    Learned Alot From You

Looking forward To See More Videos On Small Setups For Solar Systems

    Keep It Up

  • Jeff...being slightly obsessive compulsive and a perfectionist... I can't tell you how badly I want to move your "SOLAR" sign up above your panels. LOL!!!

  • @helloman1976 Already ahead of you. Were moving the panel rack to the other end of the building thats why we did'nt move the sign up yet.

    Jeff

  • Did you get that footware in Cali? Just kidding. Nice job as usual. Do the batteries pose a fume problem?

  • @599891No ,these batteries are sealed. you should build a box vented to the outside. The footware is from germany, Berkenstocks, very comfie.

    Jeff

  • Jeff you are a GREAT AMERICAN Thanks for the videos.

Merry Christmas to you and your family.

    Cheers

  • Hi Jeff, the outback is the choice I'd like to have for the way it does the job and increases output. I just wish that Santa had put that under my tree today. Thanks for the vid, Billy

  • hey ,cool outback system do you have a system that can do the same, but a little

    cheaper maybe .

  • Thanks for the video and your expertise. Merry Christmas!

  • nice battery bank I cant wait to have the money to start my own system that is a very very nice battery bank love the solar panel setup thats what I like to get is the out back system but wow talking about anyere between 1000 to 3 or more for just one but from the reviews they are about the best but I will most likly start out with the plug in ones and build from there. again great video Jeff
