  • I have respect for many things you have said except for this. Of course the drink in the bahamas and the robbery are connected by cause and effect. What do you think paid for the drink, the five star hotel and the plane ticket? Simply stating that a selfless action always leads to good results and that if we don't believe that we don't have morality is not only childish it is also part of black and white thinking. It seems to me much more simple and this has nothing to do with any made up laws

  • @lobomeister selfless actions usually bear wanted results and, not unimportant, are sustainable. Selfish actions less often, for self defeating reasons, have wanted results and simply are not sustainable. If everybody robbed banks we wouldn't have drinks at all. So morality does not need to be based on an invisible law, but can simply be based on what is sustainable and loving. Now that is using the buddhi, but independently of buddhist dogma.

  • Both Christianity t and Islam teach about being good to others. If that pleases God then surely her blessings must follow. If blessings follow then these religions also teach karma. They just don't put it in terms of karma.

  • But Christianity and Islam does not teach Karma. They teach obedience to god and morality depends on pleasing god.

  • thank u teacher
