a couple of things bother me about this game 1 it has a similar move to SP CONVICTIONS mark and exicute and it has a mass effect kind of style character customization and diolog style

this is a direct copy and paste from splinter Cell with the Mass effect dialogues. And they talk about it like if they have invented something new. But i'm definetively buying it. :)

i loved Mass Effect and im sure this is going to be astounding too. its weird though--it seems like everyone is kinda putting mass effect down lately. i really didnt experience (or notice) any of the major problems people ranted about. it was one of my favorite gaming experiences...ever. i cant wait for the sequel, and Alpha Protocol, of course.

It's like Oblivion meets Splinter Cell, that would be pretty sweet. Graphics are deal able, I don't need Crysis enthusiastic settings to be happy with a game as long as the gameplay is solid. I do want to see CQC combat in an RPG though. While it has a Bourne feeling, as long as it's done properly I wouldn't mind, that's why I'd rather look at Splinter Cell as a viable sci-fi espionage role model.

Alpha Protocol is more like Mass Effect meets Splinter Cell. Reportedly the new RPG uses the dialogue system from Mass Effect.

Hope character creation is identical. To where you can have a generic main character or make your own.

But the lock picking is definitely Oblivion xD That's awesome.

We never know. Mass Effect was thought to be fixed as well but you only saw a generic character. So I'll wait and see.

It's slightly similar to the Mass Effect dialogue system, but more refined.

Dialogue choices are real-time, you can't sit there and choose what you want to say. Every single conversation happens only once per playthrough, you cannot repeat dialogue. You have three basic stances you can take, suave, professional, or aggressive, and occasionally a fourth "I don't want to talk to you anymore" option.

After watching a few other video previews of this game I have to strongly disagree. A quick comparison between the two shows just how much better AP graphics are. Despite them not being top notch, it leaves room for more detail packed into the game. Thank God for that.

Hmm, I want it, but looks a bit too much like Bourne game, which was just terrible. I hope it's RPG elements and gameplay make up for it's sub-par graphics. I'd love an MGS style stealth game, and with an RPG premise even better.

Some time in June it will be out buddy. I hope they don't screw this game up. A game influenced by 24 is not a good idea in my book. 24 is dog shit on a stick. Bond, Born and Alias is the way to go.
