  • Not bad.. but still very very far from my Gibson Les Paul Studio.

  • The Elitists' use the finest wood and hardware. The electronics and pickups are Gibson parts. I have the Elitist LP Standard Plus. I'll always keep it.

  • First few seconds sounded like a GWAR riff

  • @IamPrichard Yeah, the opening to Finger Your Anus.

  • If anyone is interested in buying the Les Paul ELITIST Plus top let me know. I have one in great condition! Sounds like a HIGH-END GIBSON. Only difference is the finish!

  • @T3rr0rWr1st Do you still have it?

  • @olwanger I another one but the same guitar

  • @T3rr0rWr1st Hey, I am thinking about getting one of these used. How much did you sell it for if you don't mind me asking?

  • the first few seconds sounded like Malmsteen's Fender... but good playin

  • Amazing right hand technique there. Those fast metal rhythm parts were very well done. Awesome playing.

  • What are the diffrence between a eltist les paul standard and a regular epiphone les paul standard soundwise?? or how the hell "soundwise" spells

  • Elitists are made in Japan

  • the materials used to create the guitar, and the quality of the electronics as well all influence a guitars sound. Elitists have somewhat better electronics than that of the normal epiphones.

As for the craftsmanship, just because it was made in japan doesn't make it better, same goes for american.

Judge a guitar with your ears not with your eyes. personaly I love epi elitist series, used to have one till it got stolen. It sounded amazing...

  • In my experience I like better the pick ups on the Gibson (although the Epi has Gibson pick ups too), specially the neck p up wich I felt was too dark (tough great for woman tone)...There's really not much difference. The main difference is the nitrocellulose finish on the Gib wich makes the neck slower than the Epi but the feeling somehow more vibrant and the looks pretty more vintage.

  • @BubbaxEEL : Elitist's had gibson pickups. Top quality wood and all top quality electronics. I't s basically a Gibson guitar made in Japan.

  • @BubbaxEEL I think much better quality... better wood ..... better ........

  • Where did you find that finish? Might be the camera, but I have the elitist and it's more orange/yellow rather then red/yellow..

  • wtf

  • sounds very august burns red style haha

  • no man more of a as blood runs black feel

  • i agree

  • Actually, the first part sounds very much like Dying Fetus' "Homicidal retribution"...

  • not bad, enjoyed it, imo would be better if u were standing up( irrelevant but ye)

  • dude i cant find any info or something about the eltist/elite serie! i know that they are discontinued but cant i buy theme anywhere?

  • Which version of the guitar?

  • Wow what amp are u using, sounds like great tone.

  • It is Peavey Studio 112 Combo. =)
