JUST SEEN CURTIS MAYFIELD ON THE XMAS TOTP2 SPECIAL SINGING ON THIS DISCO IN THE SNOW BBCTV SPECIAL FROM SWITZERLAND . HAS ANYBODY OUT THERE IN YOUTUBE LAND GOT THE SHOW IN FULL. WOULD MAKE MY CHRISTMAS INSTEAD OF CLIPS THAT ANNOY ME ABOUT MUSIC PROGS . LIKE THEM SEEN AS THEY WERE ORIGINALLY BROADCAST AS THE FULL PROGRAMME DONT YOU THINK??

This was the first time this song was performed in public on the tv show DISCO IN THE SNOW from Leysin in Switzerland. Leo Sayer introduced them and when it was finished Liz said goodbye and thank you to the audience and they closed the show with all the other guests joinging them on stage to do 'Brown Girl'. One of my favourite Boney M memories from childhood!!

Yes thepiperchile this was filmed in Leysin, Switzerland for a BBC TV Special called "Disco In The Snow" around the same time that ABBA made their "ABBA In Switzerland" special in 1979.

liz mitchell and frank farian(there producer) sang on all the records liz is the original lead singer and sang lead on 98% of all there songs along with marcia barrett(lead singer of belfast) fact boney m was not fake

No, Marcia Barrett sang 20% of Boney M's songs and backing vocals too.

I love Boney M too but they were much more fake than ABBA. Only two of 4 members ever sang on the records. And on some of the songs none of them sang !!

Why this group or ABBA for that matter never got the true deserved recognition they so richly deserved is just another of lifes mysteries. To me at least. Fun Fun music! :)
