i have this phone, And never had a bad battery life.. Well except when im not in a service area then it kills my bat. And never had a time out either. But im Verizon. Dont know if it has any thing to do with it.

But i love this phone. Super durable, real powerful. can do so much with it if you know how to.

Your camera probably has a big minimum focus distance. You need to keep the phone a little further away from it. Or perhaps there is a way to set the focus to be closer. You need to read the manual or experiment.
