  • He was probably having a stroke. Oh well, he's outlived rock and roll. He'll never die.

  • Death take Elvis easy but Death isn't going take Berry that easy !!!

  • He has gotten old, it happens to everybody. We just lost Hubert Sumlin and are gonna lose Etta James soon. Not many people can at the age of 84 get back up from collapsing let alone on stage and still have the courage to try to play guitar. Not everybody can be as energetic as BB King when they are that old. Its sad to see him this way but whoever is making fun of him needs to grow some balls and mature a lot. Oh and btw I'm 18, and i appreciate this man for what he was and is...a legend.

  • Be kind to our hero.

  • i don't doubt his influence, thus why his was eligible for HOF, just think you should have more success and not saying hits = success but he should have a larger catalog of music and some testament to his work and abilities as a songwriter, which shows your ability is more than technical, even Jimmy Hendrix in his short time has shown his musical writing prowess that coincided with his excellent technique

  • @GreenLightMe lololololol I read this with great amusement, and I have decided to take pity on you, as I feel U are either very young or are not musicale minded, bands like acdc rolling stones and many more looked up to chuck berry, details would be beyond U, so I will spare them, sit back and U may learn something.

  • @UKToneKing Chuck berry had ZERO song writing ability, people look up to these Old timers because they were there in the beginning, end of story. This is the guy who wrote My Ding a Ling. I'm not one of the people who buy into that reverance crap, his career lasted from 54-59, his come back was in 71 with My Ding A Ling, that's all you need to know.

  • @GreenLightMe were the fck have U been hiding under a rock for the past 50 years lol he is 85 and still get's sell out gig's, maybe 100s of thousands of people are wrong and your right, maybe he has not produced album after album, who cares, the stuff he plays still gets sell out concerts, & that's what matters, how many 85 year olds U know doing live gig's, but chuck berry is a legend & it's a shame people are beating on him, when he is 85 & nearly passing out to put on a show for his fans.

  • @GreenLightMe hes a great song writer. have you ever even heard of Johnny B. Goode or You Cant Catch Me

  • he did not collapse he had to take a shit lol but no at 84 he rocks i can tell all you one thing hes still better then the shit today am i right or wrong and yes it was a joke i made i was not being a prick thanks

  • Now the sad thing is that he's never in tune, plays a beat up guitar that could be new from Gibson overnight. Or at least fixed back up. He has NO traveling band to save the money. He doesnt practice with the bands he plays with meets them that night says we start with what ever and asks them to keep up he's Chuck Berry and DONT play over him or his fans will beat the crap out of them. You guys live and work here I get to leave so be good and dont show me up or else im 75,76,77 etc. Thats CBERRY

  • THese comments make no sense what so ever. Jezzz, the video is of an old man that's trying to entertain. What else does he have to do? Sit at home? Chuck Berry Sitting at home!!! That'll be the day. Hes worth $19 Million Dollars according to recent publications. You have $19 Million YOU DONT HAVE TO PLAY. Period. He enjoys the attention and affection. Face it though. Chuck Berry's been a nasty mean old man for years. Shows up to gigs like this one, sticks his hand out for his pay and 1 hour

  • click for hd why would i want to see my hero colpase in hd

  • Poor CHUCK... He still tryin to do his thang.

  • chuck always had trouble tuning his guitar.

    he was getting there....

  • THE KING AND THE ARCHITECT OF ROCK N ROLL . GOD BLESS HIM . DON'T WORRY CHUCK PEOPLE ARE SMARTER NOW IN DAYS AND KNOW THEIR HISTORY , THEY KNOW WHO THE TRUE KING OF ROCK N ROLL IS .

  • THE TRUE KING OF ROCK N ROLL RIGHT THERE . FUCK ELVIS PRESLEY THAT FUCKEN HONKEY NEVER WROTE A SONG IN HIS LIFE , AND BARELY PLAYED GUITAR .

  • God Bless Him.

  • Chuck YOU are MY mine influence on guitar , and always will be !! Love You Man !!!

  • We love you so much, Chuck. Thank you for playing and playing and playing for your fans. You made my New Year's Eve the best one ever in NYC. XOXOXOXOX

  • he's a remarkable man....to see him get on stage at 84 is simply amazing! He's the original Rock 'n' Roller!!!

  • Take it easy and take care of yourself, my good man!

    Bless Chuck Berry! :)

  • wtf is the situation doing on stage?? 0:51

  • @dopemcee hes sucking your mothers dick

  • @ajoj0909 that makes absolutely no sense...but what do i expect from a retard...

anyway its sad that we have our heros like chuck berry 84 years old forced to tour just to survive..and somewhere there's a jewish guy reaping the benefits of his work cuz chuck signed the wrong things...smh..pisses me off sometimes.

no reason this guy should be an active touring musician instead of doign it when it feels like and just sitting back and collecting checks from all his hits..

  • @dopemcee That's right, asshole, because no gentile ever ripped anyone off, nor do blacks ever rip off other blacks.

  • @dopemcee you fucking wrote: "what is the situation doing on a stage", i answered like that because you acted like an idiot that is trying too be funny on the video like this. From what i see know, i can see that you are normal person, but pls dont try to be funny on a video where legend collapses

  • @dopemcee Good point. The greedy Jewish media bosses screwed Chuck out of significant amounts of money. We need to round up all the Zionist scum and put them on a one-way trip in a space rocket.

  • @dopemcee I see what you're saying.......but theres also the possibility that he WANTS to keep doing it too. Look at Paul McCartney. He doesnt have to do 1 more single concert for the rest of his life..........yet he continues to tour. Not always about the money, but just the love of doing it.

  • @dopemcee it's their own fault, most of these acts from the 50s/60s had a mere 5 successful years and were done. BERRY had only 1 hit after 1959! they are in the HALL OF FAME cause yes, they influenced OR created the genre BUT still a lousy 5 years of success in a GENRE you created says A LOT IMO! doesn't help that berry couldn't continue making studio albums due to being in prison for RAPE or TAX EVASIOn, typical cricket. SEE MCCARTNEY on how to stay RELEVANT AND RICH playing music...

  • @GreenLightMe You are entitled to your opinion I would much rather take the word of great artists such as the Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Michael Jackson, Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton who all proclaim Chuck Berry as the most influential rock guitarist of all time. He laid the law and how rock guitar is played. It's almost impossible to play any rock song I know of with out using at least some of the techniques Berry pioneered. While his career was short his influence continues still.

  • @dopemcee he's doing what he loves best.. rock n' roll!

  • the King of Rock and Roll

  • @noiseruption not him

  • @mdz255 how can you say chuck is not the king of rock and roll? he's the one of the most influential guitar players ever, he changed the way the whole instrument was played and he's still rocking out at 84!

I love the support the whole crowd showed through out the whole show, you can tell he wanted to continue play

  • @foolwithrippedpants yes dude. i m elvis fan. for my live. and i say...chuck berry is the king of rock n roll. not elvis. elvis is the king of gospel. elvis dont wanne the king of rock n roll. he wanne be only sing gospel. by lord...(sorry for my bad english)

  • @noiseruption Hate to break it to you but Elvis is. Take it like this Elvis is God, Chuck Berry is an angle. :)

  • @metalfreak4677 - How many rock n roll songs did Elvis write.

  • @mallcolmx I'll admit you have a good point, But Elvis is still the King of Rock N Roll in my opinion. Chuck comes close. he's an Angel.

  • @metalfreak4677 - Yep - most white people would share your opinion coz Elvis was a white man too - But the true Kings of Rock n Roll ( black music ) Arthur Crudup - Chuck B - Big Joe T - Little R - Big Mama T. Just to name a few.

Elvis just copied like a Xerox machine.

  • @mallcolmx What the fuck! why are you getting offended? I'm not even beeing racist.

  • @metalfreak4677 lol - i'm not even offended - i'm just introducing the facts - relating to rock n roll music - and when u look at the facts and feel the music - chuk b is one of the kings of rock n roll - elvis just imitated the black man's voice and sang other people's music. Don't take the truth personel my friend.

  • @mallcolmx Oh It's hard to tell through text.

  • @mallcolmx i agree 200%!!!!

  • @metalfreak4677 elvis lacked the depth to write is own name without help, let alone writing any songs. elvis is every bit as intellectual as ozzie osborne, know what I mean?

  • @mollkatles Hay well bro you try writing your own name when your hooked on Meth,LSD,Cocaine,Crack,MDMA,Shrooms,Heroin,Weed,Peyotee,PCP,Beer, And any other drug I missed! my point is he's a drug addicted what more can I say lol! But what the hell does Ozzy have to do with anything?

  • Goodness gracious.....

  • Chuck Berry will rock until the end of time......

  • I love the way he had the thought to come back out to the crowd and explain personally what was wrong, despite being clearly very unwell, that's a sign of real selflessness, most performers far younger than him wouldn't have been able to do that, they probably wouldn't have even been able to turn up in the first place and would have just canceled the whole gig, amazing.

  • @proff180 and that is the truth! I totally agree

  • Chuck be good buddy!!! I aint from your generation, but thanks to the recordings technology and thanks to you, I can enjoy your great songs.

  • @BartRamone my thoughts exactly!

  • Please take it easy Chuck - our thoughts & prayers with you - We Love You.....

  • @busseybootlegger You say it in the best way... We want Chuck many more years. We love Chuck Berry!
