@mikaelnalicia No it isnt? King Arthur was King of an area in modern day North Wales who united the celts of wales to fight the invading Saxons? In those days Celtic warriors took the name of an animal as their nickname, thats where Arthur comes from, "Arth" which is Welsh for Bear.

@SamonMarquis The Dragon is an important Welsh symbol? Its from the prophecy of Merlin. The Red Dragon represents the Celts of Wales, and a White Dragon represents England and the Saxons, It is said that the White Dragon and the Saxons would win at first but eventually the Red Dragon and the Celts would rise again and re-conquer Britain. Why shouldnt we use it on our flag?

and i assume that an independent england would keep a monarchy because the sovereign of the UK is the titular of the english crown: it was the king of england that became king of scotland, for example, and although the inverse happened before, thats the situation we live in. you see, england is the mastermind behind the UK. lthen et england keep its monarchy

actually it was the king of scotland who became the king of england, and it matters not, they're all german now anyway. And it was scottish kings and a queen who wanted the union for simplicity sake, and when scotland went bankrupt after darien...well that was it, they got what they wanted.
