  • @slapoutz Welcome. Next time you ask a sensible question, if you leave out the bad language I'll give you a sensible anwer. Kids read this stuff ya know..

  • @rpeek not that bad of language sorry, why such a long tounge?

  • @slapoutz It's a short tongue trailer that someone put a long boat trailer tongue on to make it into a swivel or whatever you call it when you can hinge it in the middle and drive your yard tractor up on it. You can unbolt the long tongue and use the short one, or use it as it is. For me it was a free trailer. Long or short, was glad to have it. hahaha.

  • @rpeek oh ha gotcha, i have a 4x8 trailer that swivels i bought it though and it tilts back too.

  • what happend to this trailer havent seen it in any of you new videos

  • @gasjockey101 Sold it..

  • that video was equivilante to a homosexual video

    (;

  • Very Nice!! These types of projects always give the greatest satisfaction when they turn out so well!!

  • what a great job !!!! Nice !!

  • pics were so fast all i saw was the first and last photo lol

  • nice job you did-I have been re-flooring a $200 2003 6x10. I am using 2x8 oak that came from a commercial deck. I remember when it was put up at least 35 years ago. Should last far longer than the pine used by the manufacturer in 2003.

  • @scavengersgreen That oak is good stuff. I put an oak floor in the hot rod..

  • "the recycler"

  • good job

  • Free! Thats the best price......I've gotten countless stuff for free and either use it myself or have sold it. I got a fiberglass boat with 90 HP Mercury on it and sold it for $500 check out my vids :)

  • @ryanb788 Cool..... Can't beat that.!

  • Nice work...

  • @timaay420 that is very low about the house dude amature.....dork

  • Very nice , but the pictures are going too fast

  • Did you weld that?

  • @JQisAwesome Yep...

  • Great vid bro.... Need more people like you in the world....

  • you cant pull that trailer with a winstar van

  • @huskerO11 No problem.. That old winstar is history..

  • @rpeek good that trailer deserved so much better

  • @huskerO11 The winstar was my Dads. I brought it home after he died and gave it to my daughter. It blew a head gasket first winter up here and although was in excellent shape otherwise, it also needed a windshield and the tranny made noises that sounded like moving furniture on a hardwood floor.. I didn't fix it.

  • @rpeek im sorry to hear about your dad and sorta the winstar but anyways great looking trailer

  • That is a really nice trailer!

and to think, you got it for FREE!!!

    Looks Great.

    You do some great work

  • Pull that wagon behind my 64 chevy C-10 and git lots of looks especialy when I'm haulin late model junk!

  • P.s I realy appreciate the responses to comments. Where u at anyway? I'm in northeast texas

  • Ya I'm a welder machinist fabricater by trade and can't resist cookin steel. Goes good with that mornin cup of joe. Really enjoy ur channel and you'll prolly start recognizin this screen name b4 long

  • @knucklebuster1964 Yep, already have.

  • I just finished a 18 footer even has air ride with an onbord compresser. Hauls outstanding. All I did was copy the air suspension setup on a 48' dorsey and made it smaller with lots of travel to get it low. Also devised an ajustable hitch to keep er level for different trucks. Aready gettin requests to build more.

  • @knucklebuster1964 Sounds like a danged cool setup. I'm workin' over an old car trailer, but it's nothing fancy like what you've got there.

  • Banjo rocks.

  • This video is strangely entertaining.

  • @vinny1827 Weird ain't it.. hahahaha.

  • Nicely done. Does this make you a recycler? LOL. I've done a few of these over the years.

  • BRAVO!!!!!!JOB WELL DONE

  • nice work!

We have about 3-4 of those standing on our farm, i think i might get some time to fix them!

But i got some stuff that is more important at the moment....

  • nice pictures of this remodel trailer,,,

no need it a DMV plate

  • My grandfather and I did pretty much the same thing, hauls great. For a 4x8 trailer

  • Pretty cool. I like the red paint and the natural colored wood. I'm starting one next weekend. I'll need fenders, light kit and coupler. I got mine for free too, 4'x8' and all I had to do was haul it off...

Just goes to show that one man's trash is another man's treasure...er...trailer!

  • Yep, sure does... Thanks.

  • you should have sanded or grinded the rust an dirt off 1st before painting it..but it looks nice..well done

  • GAYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!....................just kidn, i got a trailer just like that one, only frame and wheels when i bought it($40) and im fixing it um right now, just gotta put the wood on the sides and install the lights. everything added up to 300 dollars.

  • Cool.. I like trailers. Thinking I'm going to build another, big enough to haul a car..

  • i got mine for my go kart and for hauling all my familys camping gear

  • I love country music!

  • wow nice remodel the trailer

  • Thanks!

  • welcome and come to see my R/C model trailer on a video

  • One mans trash is another mans treasure. I made mine out of a 70's Terry pop up tent trailer. Free with crap inside, DEAL! I made a nice flat bed out of it and used my new trailer to haul the crap that came with it to dump.

  • I've got an old broken Windstar and I'm thinking about pulling out the back axel and making another trailer out of that, since I can't find anyone to buy the thing as it is..

  • Que Buena ismpiracion! Gracias

  • si lo mismo me paso a mi!

  • nice trailer dude!

  • Thanks. Got another axel and thinking about building another..

  • Clap, Clap, Clap, Clap, Clap, Clap, Clap, Clap, Clap, Clap, Clap, Clap, Clap, Clap, Clap, Clap!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • From a fellow trailer restorer. Good job!

  • Thanks!

  • wow nice to see some one keeping this stuff on the road. My home built has an old model A or early chevy straight axle. We weld it straight and built an A frame from there. Wish it had some suspension tho.....

  • I like those old A-Model axle trailers.

  • nice job

  • Great looing trailer.

  • Happy little trailer. Happy to get a good fixin, but happiest to have a good fixer to do the fixin. Good day to you.
