Charlie Anstaett of Team DaveO. Charlie achieved a record setting top speed of 259.856 MPH piloting his own Turbo Hayabusa which Dave built and tuned while also serving as Charlies Crew Chief.
Charlie Anstaett is in critical condition due to a motorcycle accident.he was riding in the mountains in Colorado when he hit the curb and was thrown about 30 feet.
Dave will be missed. bringing back some old dragracing memories of him and I and me givin him the finger cuz he was passing me at the finish line at New England Dragway.
Dave Owen was involved in a fatal accident today while competing at the ECTA-Maxton September event. The accident occurred just after 11:00 am in the shutdown area after finishing a 215.9mph pass. The cause of the accident is still under investigation and no details are available at this time.
