Colin Powell is a confused idiot! He says he's a republican and that McCain is the "ideal" republican candidate and then he endorses Obama, a far far left liberal! But he is the ultimate politician! NOBODY has any clue as to what he actually stands for! He's a blank slate, so he is whatever you want him to be! All things to all people! A republican who voted for Obama! Hmmmm...could race have played any part in that decision? Naahhh couldn't be! LOL!

Sotomayor is clearly a racist and sexist idiot. She's made DOZENS of sexist and racist remarks for decades. As has Obama and Powell. She was even a member of La Raza which literally translates to the "The Race" which was founded by a crazy extremelt racist hispanic nationalist. And Obama himself attended an extremely racist black nationalist church himself. Powell also has expressed his support for "affirmative action" aka politically correct bigotry multiple times.

I'm not surprised. I was recently reading some Republican comments which referred to Obama as "Chimp Obama" and "Monkey Obama." Racists are going to see racism in others. They have no other choice.

Really? Please provide some of the reasons. Powell scolded the GOP for not being more "centrist", and then he endorsed the most liberal member of the Senate over someone reknowned for years as the epidome of a moderate. Experience?  McCain had loads and Obama had a laughably paltry amount.

Face it. It was primarily about race. He wanted to get back in the good graces of the black community. He also wanted to get back in good with the media after his UN speech.

I actually haven't seen him EVER articulate CLEARLY how Obama deserved his vote more than McCain. He maintains his title "Republican," but all that matters are where one stands on issues. Any clear-minded person can see through that disguise. Bottom line. His support of Obama makes him liberal, or he voted for Obama because of an affinity towards another black person. Either way, while I'm grateful for his prior military service and support of W, at that time, Powell lost my respect also.
