It's great to have this video up. I come from the woodstock era, and used to patronise almost every live band in KL, from 1970-73. Yes, we used to have our weekly, called it "Varsity Balls" then. Have witnessed almost every top band in KL at that era. The "skin disease" in the country has been a problem, but now thanks to the net...who needs them anyway. One can create one's own platform. I am 62 now, I compose, write and sing, the way I feel like it, for my own audience, even if it is my dog.
Some musicians that you hear in your life, you never forget. Its almost 40 years since I saw Terry play. Unfortunate I wont see him again. But what a player ! I was touring Asia with Black Fire Prophecy. Wow they are going to flip when they see this vid. Thanks !
thank you for posting my childhood friend.since i have moved to the us from seremban i have lost touch with terry but couple years back when i was home some friends told me of his passing i guess we are all getting old i loose a few every time i go back maybe i should,nt go back!!! i will always cherrish terry hendrix chris
Malaysia music industry makes him underrated, not known. How many youngsters of today ever heard of him? Coz there's this disease what u call 'skin disease' still around in this country.
Not many of today's generation know who Terry is, even those of the 80s & 90s. It' sbecoz of the fuckin' one sided music industry in M'sia. Since 70s emphasis has been given on Malay-song based artists, so people could know them when listening to radio. Ask them how many know about Strollers, Western Union Band or October Chalice? They still practise the favouritism till now. thank God for the internet!!!
I love this song! Terry did great here. His brothers Bonny and Freddy had their own band The Junior Hunters. Would be great if we could find more of their gigs on Google. Aah... this takes me back to the era groovy", long hair and sideburns!

Terry Thaddeus was Malaysia Legendary Guitarist ! There will never be another like him.....he inspired so many Malaysian guitarist.
His Brothers -the late Bonny and Freddy are both talented too.
Terry's band The Teenage Hunters were the rave and Top group.
Bonny & Freddy Thaddeus , Azmi Hamzah and Peter Kee Yeow were the original Junior Hunters.
I used to follow them around functions in KL esp Jackies Disco & Uni Malaya .....sort of roadie.
Hunters were great !!
