I have a newer old Lawnboy Silver Series with a siezed engine that i am trying to get rid of. Im thinking of scrapping it lately because it is not selling for 12 dollars lol! I usually keep my eye open for older trashed Lawnboys because some people out there still like to tinker around with them. 2 years ago i sold a bricktop with carb problems for 25 bucks to a enthusiast.

I dunno- if y take that simplicity apart- either get pics or redo it fast- i took mine almost all apart n had a hell of a time getting it back together after a cosmetic restore.... i figured it out eventually.....

Yeah theyre a cool tractor - i sorta still wish i hadnt junked my 70s simplicity - that was pretty cool looking...

Yeah, I can see them being quite a pain in the ass. What I do is sections. The biggest pain in the ass on this setup would be the mower deck. Other than that, it's just a frame, engine and seat!

I'm not sure if I will restore it though. I may just use it to beat around on!!

I had serious issues trying to take the deck apart- i broke a chunk off one of the cast pullies ( not enough to hurt operation tho) - sometime ill tear the deck fully apart n paint it right .

I used Allis Chalmers orange and bright white paint for mine - under the orange i painted it the white to brighten up the orange a bit more- under the chassis and rear fenders i used undercoat/spray truck bed liner - painted the trans and inside of the wheels gloss black.

Thats just it, I'm not sure if it's just a buld, or what it is. I haven't opened it up. I don't have the money to fix it anyways, I'll see if I can get a rough estimate as to what it would cost to ship, and if you want it, it is yours!!!

U got a few jobs to do this week, so you spend more time in the garage ... I wish I had some stuff to do for passing the time but never mind. I may, or may not.... I'm not sure yet what I'm going to do with the Blazer. If I decide this is what I want to drive for a long time, I'm going to drop a pair of 15's in here. I'm still debating what I want to do. The amp I have for subs is powerfull enough to pound a couple 15's, so we'll see!!

Yup..... Thats the box I had in my old truck. Originally it had some MTX Thunder 8500, but I sold those and replaced it with some 7500's. They POUND!!!! I loved my system!!
