Week 29 Pregnancy Update

How far out from surgery were you when you got pregnant. I was just curious, because we are going to have more children too.

I was just over a year out and past my weight loss goal. They recommend 12-18+ after WLS before getting pregnant. I thought it would take a couple of months but the viery first month worked for us!

That's great that it didn't take long. It only took us one try with our baby as well. I waited to have surgery until we had at least one baby, so now I'm hopefully having it in a few months. My doctor has told me 18 to 24 months, but I will probably do closer to 18 or a little less maybe! :)

I was so superised with my 4th daughter. After she came out they put her on my bare chest. I said why are you doing that? They told me that this was a new thing. Bonding with mother skin to skin, and getting her smell on my skin. They left her there for an hour! It was so great. She started looking for my breast on her own. It was a beautiful moment, that I didn't get with my other 3 births.

I've been doing my prenatal yoga for 2 months now and it's GREAT!!! I love all the breathing exercise and the nice stretching! It's super relaxing and I'm glad you enjoyed your session!

I can totally relate to the sleepless night. Btw, you look great!

You're just practicing your Mother Tiger instinct...wanting all things to be perfect, wanting to protect to the highest degree...all natural and very normal. It really won't matter what the little dude will look like - you're going to love him so much it will hurt ! No matter what! He could be short, fat and bald...hey, that sounds just like my hubby! He will be just right. He will be the most beautiful baby, he will smell of the sent that only babies have and you will look for all his toes and tiny fingers when he enters this world. Yes, this is what I remember. Enjoy. Happy thoughts and wishes for you dear. i get to enjoy my grandbabies now. and they are all those things I said. Life is good.
