Yes he was born in Burma . one of his sons Peter tours as a keyboard player with depeche mode and is also a song writer .

He was brilliant & innovative Dancer and a good friend. I heard he gave Enge some dance moves when they both worked at the same time in Las Vegas in the early 70's. Enge found it hard to share mutual fans with nice Pete.

@postasong MMmmm yeah my Dad Enge was ok, but was very self concious. I loved Pete's version of Try a little tenderness and it's only love. Great arrangements :D

He was a great Dancer. My Dad worked with him at the Talk of The North in Eccles. Believe he actually gave Engelbert some vocal coaching ??? They both had a similar sound ???

Good looking fella in his day, sort of a cheap mans Engelbert. Seem to recall Pete was born in Burma and was in the 70's TV show UFO. Passed away around 2008.
