Mine is a little different, but this was really helpful. My model number is F460B and the battery inside is number is 1UF463450F

.

The replacement battery also works for the Palm LifeDrive, got mine for $11 on ebay. I used tiny watch screwdrivers and needed a strong needle like thing on a screwdriver handle to get the back and front apart. Was fairly easy after that.

I can see that my USB connectors are clearly broken -- one of the wires that was soldered down is now detached. Any idea where I can buy this part?

@ralphonzo13 +1, Flip MinoHD unresponsive to any combination of resets/charges/etc. I disassembled, disconnected/connected battery pack and it fired right up

Thanks a lot, just too my Mino Flip apart following your video and when I put it back together, it started working again! It just wouldn't respond, it was completely frozen, but now it's back operating. Hopefully it doesn't go down tomorrow! ;-)

@ Irulethe70s, Where did you get the replacement battery? My mino, after being used until the battery ran low, will not turnon. I've tried the reset through the pinhole, I've left it plugged into my desktop computer overnight. The computer doesn't even acknowledge the device is plugged in, so I'm thinking maybe the battery is simply not working.

@jcapril1 you can look on ebay for a parts one that holds a charge or look for a battery on ebay

just comparison shop to find a good price

i am stuck with a parts one 4 months ago but being it crapped out AGAIN, i sold both and got a zi8

The only info that helped..Between pressing the pin and charging it for days, nothing worked..So i cracked it open and touched a few things, and it turned on..Im not sure how i fixed it,but i did..Thanks for the video.

Thanks a million. USB connection was not working when connected to computer. Was able to see how to take Flip apart "properly" and solder USB connections again. Thanks
