Back when Vlad was a young stud, he was taking out the best wrestlers on the US team and was a beasty dude. He's still good, but a 23 year old Vlad would have been far more competitive with Jones. Vlad now can't move 1/4 as quickly as the old Vlad.

Jones better not under-estimate this guy he is the real deal. Jones's heart has not ben tested yet. What will happen if he gets caught and has to dig deep? We don't know the answer yet. maybe he is a good as the hype but the bottom line is Matyushenko is battle tested and passed Jones has mostly won easy bouts who knows if he is game

You guys are ridiculous. Jon Jones is 23 and his highlight reel is 4,000 times sicker than this. They highlighted a Tito Ortiz fight that he lost by unanimous decision. The saddest part is when they kept looping his horrible demonstration on the punching bag. I think Matyushenko is a tough opponent, but Jon Jones definitely deserves the hype, especially because it has the potential to sell and make Dana White Filthy Rich. Matt Hamill looked like he was pulled from the wreckage of a train crash after he fought Bones Jones. I can't believe they decided that he lost the fight because he elbowed the other guy in the top of the head. I've never heard of that law, and, why would that mean that he looses the fight??????? Wouldn't it be more appropriate to deduct points or give a warning? Doesn't make any sense.

Anyways, if Hamill was destroyed by Bones, I don't think this guy will fair any better. Win by broken spine.

But, Vera, Hamill, Bonnar, and O'Brien were all considered tough fights for Jones, but he beat all of them with ease and nearly killed Hamill and Vera on that note. The only reason Jones' has looked so great is because no one has been able to or even really tried to expose his weakness of being on his back.
