Hey..waddaya know.. the 'Official" redeye channel seems to remove any negative comments about thier product... wonder why? Perhaps it's because it'sa crappy product that doesn't work worth a damn...
The RedEye is on the floor to be able to send IR commands to all components (needs line of sight), you can not operate the buttons without looking at them. Browsing to specific functions by scrolling in a list takes more time than pressing a button on a remote.
I would have invested that money in a decent universal remote control, like a Pronto, Prestigo or Harmony.
@yvedb First thing, i use a IR Extender or Splitter so the redeye dont has to be in line of sight. You can design your own remote layout so the scrolling was just a sample ... you dont have to do it once you setup a button in the main layout. I used a harmony for a long time. Sure i miss the haptic and yes you have to look. I like the idea and want to support it. So at this point i whould prefer a harmony but it works good and i hope with every update i will see improvement.

@EUTEPREUTE i'm using some IR power socket. The jack can learn a IR command from any remote.

Clearly not a usability improvement.
