I don't know if someone already said it but whatever : You can set the C4 while on the ground, leave it there as long as you want, jump from the stage (you don't have to jump right above the C4, you can jump from the opposite edge) -> cypher -> explode C4 > third jump (or fourth if you consider the cypher as a jump).

Its basically this. The C4 needs to be planted anywhere, even works when stickied to someone. Then u can just touch the ground with the cypher. U have to buffer the jump after the detonation otherwise it doesnt work. It has something to do with him detonating the c4 which causes the jump reset.

You don't have to use Cypher right after you plant the C4. You just have to jump and drop the C4. You can do anything else, and then before the C4 auto detonates, you can do the Cypher/Blow up C4 part, and still get the extra jump.

A lot of people obviously don't understand snake, lmao. I'm an Oli/IC main... but I at least know Snake loses his second jump when he uses his cypher, so this is a really interesting/incredible discovery. Even if his feet did touch the ground, Snake shouldn't have any jumps afterward anyway.

It really seems like it's because his cypher lets snake's feet touch the ground. It's like with Pit's wing refresh. Wings of icarus have to have Pit's feet touching the ground while he is doing it to get all his jumps back.

Yeah, looks like some form of SJR where the downward speed of the fast fall makes him touch the ground during upB. If that's true then you could repeat. I really don't get how C4 would have anything to do with it.

A) Some form of SJR

or

B) Snake's feet are sweeping the ground as he dips on the cypher, causing him to recover a second jump

I'm having a hard time seeing how the C4 is part of the equation
