  • What kind of mal?

  • @pulsejet1 Hey, I packed a line over :o

    9

  • You were sit-flying on your 6th jump?

  • @nmbrs555 no it was my 70th jump, I started trying sitflying on my 15th jump. Blue skies!

  • Let me translate what that "Thunderstruck" is covering up. "OH FUCK OH FUCK... OH FUCK OH FUCK OH FUCK." :p Nice video.

  • @xdaughertyx Yeah, first I was like O Shit.... Please..... Please..Pleae....Fuck it!!!!! Sweet~8-) Thanks for watching

  • dude you were so cool! and with thunderstruck sounding in the background this video gave me goosebumps, awesome!

  • @Themovievoiceman Thanks buddy, you can't tell but I think I shit myself a little on that one~8-)

  • Great vid, dude!

  • @bosalex2006 Thanks!

  • I'm on level 6 of my AFF. I think this video is a fantastic example of what to do in the event of a malfunction. Great video, thanks for sharing.

  • @mxr73 Thanks, Have a good time in aff it only get's better! Blue skies

  • @joseywhales Just returned home from jumping my level 6, my solo grad jump. I really, REALLY stunk the place up. Exit went fine and that's about it. I started to do a really quick left turn and corrected. Then went into a quick right turn. That was followed by a sweet bag of potato chips. The requirements for this jump are exit at 6k, get yourself a heading and pull at 4k. I was able to pull on time.....the remainder of the jump was a bummer.

  • @mxr73 If you had Fun and are still walking your doing great! It only get's better and better

  • @joseywhales Thanks for the positive comment.....I just have to build up the old skydiving account and then I'll be back at it. Damn mortgage gets in the way.

  • That reserve deploy was nice and snappy!

  • @Boolag01 Thanks! I think I pulled the same time the RSL kicked in. Scared the shit out of me, really fun

  • I would have pissed myself for sure!!

  • @artadams1 lol, I just about did. I went back up the next weekend

  • @xThePezx Hey, A cut away is when something goes wrong with your main canopy(parachute ) and you have to cut it away. When I say cut away, I mean pull the handle on the right side of your chest which make's the main parachute go away. Then you pull the reserve handle, on the left side and a new parachute comes out to save your ass! Thanks for watching!

  • @joseywhales you're good dude, get rid of that shit.

  • Thanks for posting that mate ...iam just learning that gives me a idea of what a real cutaway would be like .....you looked in control all the way ....thanks again

  • @chucky672002 Hey Chucky, Thanks for watching! Hope you are doing great jumping it keeps getting better and better! Blue Skies Buddy!!

  • Nice cut, no hesitations. I see that you used one hand in each handle. I also learned to cut-away like that but now days they are teaching both hand on cut-way and then both hand on reserve. Anyway well done and blue skies...

  • Skydiving looks dangerous ... but fun at the same time...

  • Dude you cut away at 4K? haha....You had plenty of time man.

  • @theciskokidd Dude learn how to read an alimeter! It was 3k you dumb ass!!

  • @joseywhales

Fucking retard its a to read a on video made with a shitty cameras shut up

  • @theciskokidd who cares if he cut early you fuck... it's his life he wants a better chance of saving not yours. What if his reserve fucked up and he needed those few seconds to fix it?

  • @theciskokidd If you have a malfunction, you chop it ASAP. Also, as Josey says, it was 3K.

  • Thanks for posting. Amazing angle-you were spinning rapidly. Was that an RSL? Respect and blue skies!

  • @brianroger Thanks! I had an rsl on this rig, I think I pulled before the rsl could deploy. I had to chop because of a line over. Thanks again for watching!

  • @joseywhales interesting dialog between you and brianroger. you can clearly see the rsl on the video, and you can clearly see that the rsl pulled the reserve pin almost one second before you pulled the reserve handle.

  • I'm AFF lvl.3 what kind of malfunction was that? Line Twists? I think I would lose control of my bowels. They taught us Square Stable Steerable. It looks like you tried to steer, but it wasn't working. Good save though. Blue Skies!

  • @thespacepope88 Hi, it was a line twist but also a line over. I kicked out of the twist just to see the line over. Thanks for watching!! Blue Skies!!

  • supercool man, very awesome!

  • @flamefighter92 Thanks!!

  • I say to myself. "Self what did we do today that was cool"???

  • you kept your shit together!

  • @daniel59816 thanks

  • fuk that i dont skydiving before but that there would scare me away lol

  • @daleroxya It's really fun!! That did Scare the shit out of me, but when I landed I wanted to go again. Come out and try it! Thanks for checking out the video

  • Hey, this was a 260 main I bought off of ebay. The main was too big for me but the price was right. I never found the main or the free bag

  • @joseywhales it was a 260, now it's toast

  • is that how you are told to do? grip cutaway handle with one hand and reserve handle with another? many fatalities have occured because of that.. if you pull them same time, its possible that reserve tangles on your main...

  • If I could read lips you would be in big trouble.

Great video, hope you never have to experience anything like this again. BTW, what was the malfunction?

  • @TheHiznor The malfunction was a line over, it was my 70th jump. Thanks for watching

  • @joseywhales What kind and size of canopy??? Thanks,

  • Way to hold on to that D-ring!

  • It costs money dude.

  • @rpj1218 Thanks!

  • Cool video. Nice clean cutaway. Good job man

  • @joseywhales Hey Dipshit .....if you take a second and re-read what I wrote you'll realize I wasn't even talking to you....good job making yourself look like a complete moron tho!!

  • That was a great perspective. Way to stay calm and make a decisive decision.

  • @joseywhales lol never tried skydiving but can u breath normal up thier and can u feel the cold

  • @kzd209 You can breathe easily, and it can be cold but you don't really notice with all the adrenaline!

  • thanks for posting, i know what cutting away meant but never saw a clear example on exactly what you do to cut away, good angle thank you

  • @kos22us I hope your not a skydiver if you dont know how to cut away..

  • @kos22us glad you liked it
