  • アメリカン侍だな。

  • This sword is about $800 o_0 And higher! This thing is meant to kill, don't see other real reason, and for collection is just a waist X/

  • I dont think you really need to explain yourself when people argue how sharp that thing is lol!! god dang that thing is seriously sharper than most peoples every day carry knife, and it looks to be almost as sharp as my 4inch Mora fresh off a #6000 water stone, except yours is 4feet haha. It truly is a scary looking sword kudos!

  • @v5u7sulh2 ... Thank "V". I appreciate you voicing your understanding of this weapon's capabilities. Best regards, Haz

  • @Hazamayakiba can you answer me a question please? wich kind of martial arts you fight using hands and feet but it masters too the use of katanas and any kind of white weapons? sorry for the crap english

  • @darkbahamuth1 ...The answer is--> Ninpotaijutsu for open hand/feet & swords...and Silat for hands/feet, knife and stick fighting. Learn (concentrate) those two combat styles, and you've accomplished alot.

  • 日本刀なんて、どこで手に入れたんだろ?このオッチャン。

    凄い切れ味だ。

    よく手入れされてるみたいだな。

  • holy shit 0.0

  • hmm i'm in doubt the piece of paper may of been already cut but rejoined together to make it look as if the sword did all the work.

  • @joshuapratt6 ... Joshua, You've got to be Joking. If per chance you are not, then I suggest you put down your two liter bottle of Booze and drink some Milk or Coffee !

  • @joshuapratt6 i doubt it but also you have to cut it perfect the sword does not do all the work, still very sharp

  • @DarkShroom ...That is the core principle of tameshigiri. A Swordsman strives for the unattainable "Perfect Cut" ! So saying (in your words DarkShroom) "...the sword does not do all the work..." is a meaningless thing to say. It's like saying "...a plane will not take off unless a pilot makes it take off". (32 duhs to DarkShroom)

  • huh... thats not Bodyguard sharp...

  • @superford500... I honor your opinion, however, its new owner would beg to differ with you ! But thanks for commenting. Haz

  • @Hazamayakiba THX! do you even know what i mean ? :D

  • Damn Sharp!!! o.0

  • never seen anything thsi sharp wow.

  • O_O my lord that a sharp one...

  • thats pretty damn sharp, it didnt take any draw in the cut to slice the paper. Impressive

  • @xxwes997xx ...Thank You "Mr. X" ... Haz

  • I stood dumbfounded the first second

    got happy the next

then died a little inside in the third second.

  • beast

  • Price?

  • @W0sCeed1 ... The Jade Warrior was a limited edition katana (only 2 were hand forged in 2011) and they quickly sold out. Mid Year 2012 I may have one or two available. Haz

  • @Hazamayakiba I want one....really badly...how much does one cost though?

  • Forget swords Chuck Norris can do that with his finger!

  • @fadalisdestroyer666 ... Destroyer...I'm glad you know that Chuck Norris is the ultimate weapon...because if you said otherwise he'd race over to your house in a rage and he'd grab you and [fill in the blank] !

  • @Hazamayakiba Oh, please. If Chuck Norris was really that badass, he'd come into my room and smash my face on the keybodsiuvvturfydvouyfesfv873ryw8gvu5wrdg98f5y43qwe7gfyw5rejdygf784i

  • @shadowromeo22 ... Hey ! I got your joke Mr. SRomeo !!!

Just thought I'd pass on a message about anger that my better half plastered on our Refrigerator ! ::along with a whole host of other "stuff"... ugh

  • @Hazamayakiba you sir have just changed my views on everything and for this i thank you ..do you have any other sayings

  • that's sharp..cool

  • is that samurai kanji i see in the background?

  • hey.. i am seeking a katana as sharp as yours... i have an e9 steel katana, could you please tell me if whether i can sharpen this katana?

and could you please tell me from where did you get your katana?

  • @1991daffy1 ... Ask your question of the Sword Merchant or YangMan from whom you bought the sword you are speaking about.

  • Talk about sharp!! 0_0

  • Hello, your sword is nice, and i enjoyed watching also. If my friend gets a polishing stone would that also make a sharp edge sharper? And to have sharp egded sword would it take to ultra sharpness if it was a traditionally folded Katana? Thank you.

  • @mainvain820 ... Both Google and YouTube is replete with sword sharpening techniques. Seek and ye shall find.

  • Holy shit!

  • that can shave better than a razor.

  • i reallllllllllly want one!

  • That's impressive. Nice sword!

  • Damn!

  • That actually shook me just a bit

  • 0:21 SH*T!

  • I'm JAPANESE ! YOU ARE SO COOOOOOL!! :)

  • @YUZUPRINCE .... Thank you YUZU ! I appreciate your friendly comment. Buyu, Haz

  • @Hazamayakiba I'm wondering, isn't 1095 High Carbon steel too brittle and too vulnerable to rust? Would this katana be a good Dojo demonstration cutter? And also, could you possible put up a video of what this Katana's tang looks like? Sorry too many questions. Awesome video!

  • @Hazamayakiba

Im looking to buy this specific sword, Is it still available?

  • @IIIHagakureIII ... I sent you a private message Kenji ... Haz

  • Thats fucking scary sharp !!!

  • Yes is very sharp but can chip easy :-/

  • @gonefishingstudios ... My swords do not "chip" unless one does something very stupid with them...like attack an automobile...or a concrete bridge.

  • @Hazamayakiba how about chainmail, or medieval wartime armor?

  • @leoliu08 ... LEO, at my age (63) I am highly allergic to working too hard ! Great comment though.

Your brother from another Mother, Haz

  • すごい!この刀は切ることがよく出来ますね!

  • @Dracomidori ... 私の友人ありがとうございます。あなたはとても親切です ! Haz

  • Wen i sharpen my wusthof i can cut paper like that

  • @mindfux0r ...How about, This can be YOURS, if the PRICE IS RIGHT !

  • Wow that sword comes that sharp....very nice

  • If theres ever any zombies your my guy

  • wow, you can cut... paper?! remarkable!!!

  • @mikealphaxray228 take the sharpest knife you own, and try cutting a piece of paper like that cleanly. It's near impossible. That's how sharp a katana blade is. Before you go being cynical and sarcastic, actually look into what you're talking about first.

  • @shikamaruchan18 A katana is a piece of metal, any piece of metal can be sharpened.

  • why didn't you try to cut once more uh ? maybe not :D

  • @jonathanmanuelmusa ... Funny question....but if I'd have made one more cut, I'd never be able to hitch-hike again !

  • @Hazamayakiba HahahAHAHAHAHAh you rock, you wanna hang out with me ? i could use a few ninjas or two, do you happen to have a girlfriend ? maybe we can go cutting bad boys in half ;) perhaps

  • you look like machete without hair :P, your aweosme

  • @Hazamayakiba that's ok :)

  • Watch the fingers!

  • now that is an amazing blade

  • I was like yeah okay prove it and he proved it awesome, okay so it's a one sheet sword how many bodies is it?

  • is it possible to get a takeda clan sword?

  • @Ultranationalist941 ...Try searching Google.

  • @Ultranationalist941 Ebay, if you are lucky. Otherwise, if you truly want one and have patience, i suggest searching in Antic Stores.

  • Ow ow ow ya I herd of thos were they have like monks around it praying for weeks(the metal)

  • Wow,how did it cut so easy ?????

  • @kj8022 ... The blade of this katana was hand-sharpened by a Master.

  • my compy froze at 0:20. OH DEAR GOD

  • wow thats cool

  • @kennedyairsoft ... Thank you Kennedy !

  • my paper cutter cuts very very straight.

  • @captaindrywall ... Lucky You !

  • ive got a paper cutter that can do that

  • @captaindrywall ... Cool Beans !

  • It cuts paper marvelously, obviously sharp! and I like the look... But, I do wonder, since I know it was often tested so... Do we have any tests on things like bamboo, tatami, or in the even more elder practice, an animal carcass or something to simulate a human body? I am genuinely interested to see not only the keen edge, but what kind of power it can wield. I am generally a Western Swordsman, but am interested in such a katana if it's this good!

  • Cont. I wish I could learn from you. My mother died two months ago, and life has been dark, bladesmithing has been the only release for my soul. I would give anything to have your help. The jade warrior, is the blade of a god.

  • @TheTotalreason ... I am sorry to hear about your great loss. Seems the older we get, the more loved ones and friends we lose. I don't know you or your beloved Mom, but God does...and so tonight I'll add you and her to my prayers and ask God to draw both of you into his loving light, both in Heaven with your Mom, and here with you on Earth. Haz

  • Master Haz, your fine blades are above those of Japan. You sir are my hero. I build a forge in my yard, and I can make good work, but the polishing is where the high art comes into play, content.

  • Is it werid if i have a boner?

  • @MrCompainionCube ... Better to be able to have one, than not ! :::Old Japanese Proverb:::

  • Hahaha that was funny

  • what sharpening system do you use??

  • @shummyshum ...My Trade Secrets are not shared. Try Google -- Keywords "How To Sharpen A Sword"

  • @Hazamayakiba is that were u got your trade secrets lol

  • @kagetora7tsukiyo ... K7T...if I told you my secret trade secret, secrets, I'd have to [ fill in the blank ] !

  • I thought you were going to take another slice then.....oooo lol

  • @johnwoodz1220 ... Been there, done that, have scars to prove it !

  • Hey dad that was my homework at least i have proof this time because of YouTube.

  • omg that is sharpness

  • WOW, that is like... super sharp. 0_0

  • just wondering, if you pressed that blade very lightly against your arm, would there be much friction? or would it just move as if it was moving through thin air?

  • @Zanmatt2g It would slice the skin very easily... no friction whatsoever... it's exactly like a razor.. maybe even sharper

  • Hot Damn! I could make sandwiches in record time with that baby :D

  • 日本の侍にとってはこれくらい普通で御座るな

  • @faiz555cp ...

  • * Funny Train of Thought *

if i could be an inanimate object i wouldnt be that things saya all sheathing and unsheathing would be unfathomably painful ....... then again i would be inanimate ....inanimate = no pain = if i was inanimate i would wanna be that things saya

  • Hazama can u tell me where i can learn the arts of wielding this beautiful sword?

i looked everywhere and i can't seem to find any information about it

can you tell me the name of the martial art and how much a ''good'' katana would cost me ?

    Thanks =D

  • @biggel05 ..To answer the first part your question I would highly recommend you buy the book entitled "IAI - The Art of Japanese Swordsmanship". You can easily find it for sale on Amazon (dot com). Now for the last part of your question, read the "info" part of any of my Vids, there you'll find a link. Haz

  • @Hazamayakiba

Thanks for the info i'll consider buying the book

    thanks haz

  • I'd love to see what that can do to tatami mats. :P

  • @Nathanroqs ... Its new owner is in the Netherlands...maybe he'll one day do a video (who knows)....however, beyond doubt, tatami is no match for this weapon of weapons. Thanks for your interest. Haz

  • Ok now that's Razor Sharp!!!

He wasn't even holding the paper tight, it was loose.

No tension what soever with the paper.

    Amazing.

  • how about cutting a tree? :)

  • @SonicMetalHeros ... I checked many Asian History books after reading your comment SONIC...and I have not found a single instance where a Samurai Warrior was attacked by a TREE. So the answer is NO.

  • @FiveEelements ...Thank you FE !

  • dam thats sharp

  • if you put that sword in a case, would it just cut through the case so you couldn't put it in a case?

  • @zoup2nutz ... "Z-Man"...a katana, like most all swords, comes resting inside a saya (scabbard).... so all of mankind can be protected from its viciously sharp blade during transport or handling ! Right now this sword is resting comfortably in Sweden with its new owner. Haz

  • shit dude! It went right through that paper, flesh wouldn't even resist. I bet one could literally cut a round slice out of a human skull with that. very impressive mate.

  • @azreal289 ... Yes Mr. "AZ"... the Jade Warrior Katana is a vicious sword...capable of doing exactly what you described...and more. I very much appreciate your comment. Buyu, Haz

  • That is a very nice sword

  • @brandonG93 ... Thank you Brandon !

    Haz
