Great thing your family does this time of year. I applaud you! The candy has been a menace for me - getting a bag for daughter to take to school, then husband and I eat enough that we had to buy another bag... which provides even more temptation. She didn't need the whole bag, just enough for each child to have one, so there were plenty left over.
No doubt baby will come during the party. :-)
