  • The F-22 Raptor is the most amazing thing that the human race has invented so far in history. Think about it... 100 years ago we discovered how to fly... now we have this... it's amazing...

  • Fantastic camera work at "3:13" made me grin from ear to ear!! Thumbs up, great video!

  • @toomzey Yes, 100% excellent!

  • My god I forgot how awesome the F22 is.

  • u guys c the ufo at 4:18

  • best fighter ever made, other countries dont have shit on US

  • @HBOkidofThe80s Correction, The closest thing to an F-22 is Superman :D

  • Boar wow :-O

  • @HBOkidofThe80s Ya but the really closest thing an F-22 is Starscream

  • @HBOkidofThe80s No its closest thing to Chuck Norris

  • wow this is Americas pure power, I love this video Thank You.

  • Ya have to love Thrust Vectoring!

  • i cant emphasize enough how bad ass that turn he does @3:11

  • amazing..i wish that IDF will buy plane like that

  • @azmaperah2 Lol, IDF wants to buy it, but America doesnt want to sell it...

  • THAT PLANE LIED TO GRAVITY!

  • Wow! wut a show. noisy i bet.

  • lol,I wonder if they will let the Thunderbirds use the F22 to replace the F 16...that will be one cool ass and LOUD airshow!!!

  • @marchdisco77

No, the Thunderbirds, and Blue Angels both only use 'Average' level aircraft in their current branch. And it will always be that way, it's the same for the pilots too.

This is so we can prove that our aircraft and pilots, even at average - are elite compared to others.

  • @GMMaydie This was intended as a joke..the pilots are not lets say "Average" ,but a pretty experienced group so are the groundcrew. And the F-16 is a frontline fighter...average is what you train new pilots in when you are teaching them to fly....YOU got to admitt six F-22's in Thunderbird paint would be one cool ass airshow!!!! Now as an angry tax payer they should anyway since this is the only action the Raptor seems to get!!

  • @marchdisco77

F-22 Doesn't get much action because we're not at war with anyone who use aircraft against us, our current needs on the battlefield only include Air-To-Ground missions.

  • is it a bird, is it a plane, no its...... the F22 raptorrr

  • best part 2:37

  • Starscream!

  • and think about it engineers construct this mechanical wonder without flying them

  • With F-35 becoming as expensive as an F-22, they should have canceled F-35 and bought assloads of F-22 to reduce cost. This can easily fly off a carrier, look at its short takeoff.

  • @stalkingalizee

But can it land on one more than once? =P

  • @drbackjack I am sure they could strengthen the airframe. Navy was planning on its own bomber version before.

  • @stalkingalizee It can probaly take off, but it cant land, its airframe isint ment for that it would get too much damage by hitting the carrier deck all the time.

  • 3 Soviet jaws and bottles of vodka just hit the ground.

  • fuck you everybody who has seen this with their own eyes i will never see aircrafts like this in my fucking country!! >:0

fucking politics in my country......i want to make a kill list >:(

  • i forgot to say that i also as somebody mentioned love the coating.....GOOOD it looks good...

  • has the raptor ever participated in red flag?...was wondering about how it competes with other jets...4th-4.5th generation...i'know that it is intended for air - superiority but was wondering more about close range air-to-air...

and yes to the answer about the transformer question...the character starscream is a raptor.....i'm a scifi geek still...lol...

  • Amazing technology.

  • americans are so lucky... f-22 is so beautiful. I think they stopped the fabrication because the chinese j-20 and the russsian t-50 were better. I dont know, i just love the Raptor.

    Thx! Awesome amateur video.

  • @MeatVision I think the real reason is we can't afford any more.

  • I wonder if those shockwaves could be controlled as a counter-measure to deflect a missle? The plane almost seemed to toy with its awesome control of sub/super-sonic speeds.

  • dear santa.....

  • Awww .. That is so sad :( What if a poor little bird hits it ?

  • great fighter plane glad it belongs to the U.S

  • I was there at this show and witnessed this Super machine ONE word to describe it "INCREDIBLE"

  • @Numanoidlogik

    1. The Typhoon is a 4th fighter, the raptor is a 5th. Wiki that if you don't know the difference.

    2. Last time I checked it was the Euro Typhoon, meaning the RAF has to share it with 5 other countries. The raptor belongs solely to the US.

    3. A Brit may have invented thrust vectoring, but just like any idea..it's only useful if you employ it.

    Cheers mate

  • @Numanoidlogik

No man, the F-22A easily outmanoeuvres the Typoon...

I'm from the UK and even I can admit it.

    No point living a lie.

  • @Numanoidlogik I suggest you research before coming off as an idiot. The F-22 is the only active 5th generation aircraft in the world with 4th generation stealth technology. The Typhoon is a great jet, but the Raptor tops every jet in the world. Thats nothing more than pure fact.

  • When technical level come to this, we call it ART.

  • Damn, it is nice looking!

  • HAHHAHA! that cheap-looking made in china J-20 is nothing compared to this.

  • best fucking jet in the world! Americaa! fuck yeah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • this is better than sex lol!

  • @simobgbgbg

    Climactic?

  • Damn this is so freakin awesome!

  • damn great video! F22 i 1080p! Well done man! Got my subscription :)

  • Ese vapor de agua que sale cerca de la cabina es producto de las fuerzas G?

    O:

  • wow thats so cool breaking the sonics boom and cool nice camara work :)

  • DAMN THAT IS THE MOST EPiC AIRCRAFT EVERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

  • Maybe it's the perspective but that take off roll looked incredibly short.

  • Was it Frolovs Chacra at 2:14?

  • Comment removed

  • How does it defy the laws of physics ?

  • tht sounds epic

  • I swear that take-off looks to at least 150 yards, that was QUICK. Damn!!!

  • I like the Raptor, but the EF2000 beats it by far. Take off speed, acceleration, technology and agility.

  • @DSOXBLADE -"I like the Raptor, but the EF2000 beats it by far. Take off speed, acceleration, technology and agility."

Switch the two planes, and you're post then becomes full of truth. :)

  • @em745aa Well no I was right. But the F-22 Raptor has Stealth ability's.

  • @DSOXBLADE NO, you weren't. The F-22 does beat the EF in acceleration, speed and agility.

  • @em745aa Prove-It.

  • @DSOXBLADE Oh no no no no no... That's not how it works. YOU started this by saying "the EF2000 beats it by far. Take off speed, acceleration, technology and agility."

YOU're the one obligated to first proving THAT assertion...

  • @em745aa Well you said that I was ring First when I maid my comment. So you need to start. So while your making your comment I'll be putting my stuff to gather for you.

  • @DSOXBLADE -"Well you said that I was ring First when I maid my comment."

Again, YOU made the asssetion first that the EF beats the F-22 in take off speed, acceleration, technology and agility. That burden of proof is on you.

I'm not going to ride this pedantic "who goes first" merry-go-round with you. Show me this so-called "proof," then I'll tear it all down. Deal? :)

  • @em745aa How do you want me to prove you by making a video? or sending you links?

  • @em745aa Also why its taking me so long is because I'm waiting on you to reply on how you wan't me to prove you wrong. Any if you are so sure then at the same time you should have know problem on getting yours out.

  • @DSOXBLADE The video link you sent me proves absolutely nothing. (For the onlookers, this is what he sent me: watch?v=9Nj8DCjiG9o )

Unless you have tangible, specific proof backing up your claims that the EF beats the F-22 "in take off speed, acceleration, technology and agility," then don't bother replying.

  • @em745aa Why din't bother replying is because you can't prov any thing anyway.

  • @DSOXBLADE, the major difference between EF & Raptor is in basic aerodynamic configuration. The Europeans seem to favor canard-delta, while the US & Russia favor conventional one. So, I think if you & em745aa, can get to the bottom of the advantages & disadvantages of each type, there lies the answer. There is one sure consensus, canard-delta is much cheaper to produce than the conventional counterpart, but is it better? Raptor has "virtue speed brake" but EF still has an old fashion one.

  • @KATAERO Thanks you've been helpful. You have also been nice about it. That is a big factor in the comparison.

  • @DSOXBLADE, as I said the Europeans loved carnard-delta, but not the US or the Russians, who favors a more expensive conventional configuration. I suspect more aerodynamic versatility the conventional config has to offer like close-coupling of ailerons & elevons to augment roll authority & the "virtue" speed brake by deflecting all control surfaces to act like one giant speed brake. That's a few hundred lb of weight saving already. EF still has a separate heavy, old fashion speed brake.

  • (con) Imagine EF has to carry that dead weight for it separate speed brake, the weight that could be used for fuel or payload. I suspect a conventional config to have a finer handling at supersonic range, as speed increases, CL move aft closer to CG, result in positive marginal stability. For EF, having a pair of canards up front at the nose, way ahead of the wings has negative marginal stability. As speed rises, the more unstable it becomes, putting more & more demand on its FBW system.

  • the best 4ver

  • Yes we now have the F-22 Raptor in Hawaii. Can't wait for the Air Show. : )

  • mmm this airplane remember starscream airplane from picures of 2007 transformers movie

  • I would give anything to fly one of those, however without training i will pass out and die but at least it was fun while it lasted...the whole 3 seconds.

  • that is one sexy jet, i know its expensive but u get ur money worth.

  • @ALIG1985

Thank you! That makes 2 of us who are smart enough to understand this. There are far to many, Raptor hating, bozo's here on the tube for my tastes!...

  • Amazing plane, and amazing quality footage... gotta love a good ol' high-def video camera.

  • F-22 to FIDAE 2010, Santiago, Chile

  • @HBOkidofThe80s Not the closest,its better!

  • That's really nice. The clouds in the background give a great feel for the post-stall maneuveability.

  • Nice Cam shots. Love the paint of the F-22 RAPTOR!!!!

  • Too bad it got cancelled (limited production) or what ever you call it. I saw at Dayton Airshow in 2008. Its wicked!!!

  • best fighter on the world!

    cameraman 10/10! goodwork!

  • Mind boggling aerodynamics... this video certainly is the clearest on YT to see the movements of this plane.

  • Very nice video. Thx

  • good camera 5/5

  • Thanks.

  • @CoolBlueZR1 hey at the end did the flap bend ? :O at 4:10

  • Make sure that whatever program you use to make your video, you save it as an HD video.

I usually save it as .m2t file.

  • @CoolBlueZR1 what is an m2t? i always use quicktime and make it an h.264 .mov . what software do you use?

  • .m2t is a form of mpeg2 that makes keeps the video and audio together. I tried saving it as an mpeg2, but only the video came out. .m2t fixes that for some reason.

I use Sony Vegas Pro 8.

  • @CoolBlueZR1 oh, cool. i only use mpeg 2 when i encode video for DVD, and when you do that you get a Video_ts and an Audio_ts folder, so i know what you're talking about. How is Vegas Pro? i have a friend that doesn't have a mac and he wants software that is as powerful as Final Cut Pro. That's what i use.

  • Vegas Pro is awesome! I'm discovering new things I can do with it all the time.

It does chroma key, rotoscoping, surround sound editing, and up to 99 video and 99 audio tracks... great for multi-screen, split-screen videos, with music, voice, and sound effects, and a lot more.

It does just about everything Final Cut Pro does, equally as well.

  • @CoolBlueZR1 cool thanks! i have a high power pc, and i was thinking that it might do a better job with the video rendering than my 3 yr old macbook pro. i have a radeon hd 4890. i may be able to harness more power than my x1600 256 mb on my mac. i'll have to look into that.

  • the best f-22 airshow-video on youtube, imo

  • Thank you!

  • Great video, thanks for uploading and sharing! Regards from Hungary!:)

  • tlm puissant

  • soooo sick

  • Grrrrrr, why fade out nearly everytime before the maneuver is finished?

  • I agree we do need to replace our current line of fighters, but this plane is too expensive. Hell the stealth alone probably what driving up the cost and their no guarantee that it will work against a country like a china or Russia cause Im sure they have some advance radar or detection technology of their own. Any other country that has a air force is either our allies or have jets so old and out dated they can't stand up to our air force now. The future is man less fighters folks.

  • This plane cost over 130 Million just to get out the factory that not including the cost to actually get it in the air (Training and other support cost) how many of these planes do you think we can afford to aquire. And who are we going to use these planes against exactly. Our enemies today are using gorilla tactics in urban civilian populated areas and don't even have jets or radar. The only other potential enemies is what china and russia and they have nukes.

  • Pssssttttt, the Euro Fighter is pushing $130 million a copy now. The F-22 is a bargain for what it gives us compared to the Typhoon!

The Typhoon.... NO Stealth, Vectored thrust, AESA radar, Super Cruise and no internal weapons bay. The Typhoon all loaded up with it's weapons has an incredible amount of drag that the Raptor will never have no matter what they have hanging inside.

The Raptor maneuvers the same loaded or not, the Typhoon is a flying brick with all it's weapons hung on it.

  • wow. what kind of camera did you use? Amazing quality

  • Thanks! I used a Sony HDR-HC5.

  • JUST GREAT!!!

  • Now that is real beauty. Great video

  • Great vid. I was there, and I have to say I've never seen anything like it. That one Raptor was louder than all six Blue Angels! A real spectacle to watch.

Too bad Obama just gave the Raptor program the axe as part of his effort to unilaterally disarm America. This is a truly sad and dangerous time in American history we're living in.

  • Unfortunately the F22 program had to be cut short because of huge expenditures in the last 8 years. The reason we had the money to spend on such great military hardware was because of Government surpluses from previous years :P

I'm a Democrat and I am saddened by the stoppage of the F22, but i'd rather stop buying them now, fix our economy and when again we are financially strong, we can put some more funding into our hardware :P

  • The total cost of the F-22 Raptor program from 1986 to today, including R&D, was about $63 billion. This translates to about 8% of Obama's spending package, which has raised the deficit to an unsustainable level and has failed to even slow rising unemployment.

I agree that the economy needs attention, but so does our national defense. I think the money is better spent on state of the art weaponry for total air superiority than on swine odor research in Iowa.

  • This beast is also capable in electronic warfare rite?

  • I read somewhere that the AESA the Raptor has is so powerful it can be used to jam or even shut down enemy radar.

So, I guess it is also EW capable also.

  • BEAST

  • This is not a montage. You screwed up the video by slicing up the demo. You should have just played the entire thing, then it would've been watchable. 1 star, sorry. Give the F-22 what it deserves.

  • The original video was almost fifteen minutes long; too big to upload.

I shortened it to eight minutes, but it was over 2 GB; and wouldn't upload.

By slicing out less impressive parts of the demo, it becomes unwatchable? And warrants one star? Really?

  • i ended up doing mine in 2 parts. id like to see your full video...what was viewed came out good. zoom out on that high speed pass though.

  • I thought it was awesome video....

  • were u right next to that huge cargo plane?

  • I was a little way's away from it. I was right in front of the Hot Dog/Beer stands.

  • mhm i was just wondering because thats were i was standing and it looked like it was from the same angle

  • As much as a video does not do this justice, this was incredible! Great video! Glad we have this on "our" side.

  • I was at that show with my brother,,it was awesome

  • sat at the end of runway on davisville road absolutly sick ,great video man. I heard the pilot was from harrisville...thats how we role in the 401

  • I saw it friday at airshow practice. This plane is unbelieveable! Must be reverse engineered from UFO's!

  • I agree with Oxygen. This is the best one yet.

  • I masturbated to this video

  • Just what I was looking for a good F-22 Video, which just happened to be shot at the airshow yesterday! Good work. Thanks for posting this video!

  • That was a great show on Saturday i went sunday as well and the weather wasnt as good but anyway great video and an awsome display of power here in Rhode Island

  • Thanks!

    I use Sony's HDR-HC5.

  • Best video yet on Youtube of the F22 at the RI Airshow. What camera are you using?
