really now? ekotto is better than gibbs but not better than santos. ekotto offers next to nothing in attack, and yes i'll admit sometimes santos lacks in defense but he is easily one of the best fullbacks in the prem league when it comes to attack, the only one better than him in attack is kolarov. Ok, I'm an Arsenal fan, but I have to agree with a few of your points. Tottenham, with Van der Vaart in the team, are much better at taking their chances and making all their possession count, something Arsenal have come to lack recently, with the exception of when we have Van Persie, and occasionally Walcott (as of this season). And well, honestly, maybe you guys woulda won if we hadn't lost Van Persie against Barca. You gotta remember, it was 4-3 and that was just because of Messi!
