  • what mount are you using and does the front sight post interfere with your sight picture

    ?

  • @NIKON777 in most magnified scope including x4.. the front site is focused out so you won't see it.

  • Does the scope clear your BUIS well?

  • What happened with the misfeed there?

  • @Ihatetoprocrastinate

It's the magazine. Always locks the bolt back on the second to last round. Doesn't happen with any of my other mags.

  • cool rifle and scope, but....

this is at least the fifth video i've seen where ppl had the forend grip, and didn't even use it. so....what's the point?

  • @cheech85086 not gonna use it whilst prone. It helps for rapid fire from standing, running positions, ect.

  • Hi trying to figure out what will be my first ar scope and im wondering if you could give me a short review of this millet scope. i know it costs around $200 but is it worth it to buy a chinese made scope like this? I want to be using it from 25-150 yrds for 3 gun.

  • The schmit and bender is great stuff, as is most of the euro stuff. But you will spend more than $1200 on it.

My suggestion is to spend a bit more than a Millet and get a Nikon Monarch African 1-4 x 20 scope. (model 8446). You will not get nicer glass for the money. You can get the monarch for about $290. But it is night and day compared to something like the Millet. Also, its made in the Philipines. Nikon's been making their mid range stuff there for years and quality has proven great

  • Cool thx man i just looked at the specs of the millet and some of the reviews and im verged away from it. Im looking into buying a weaver scope 1-3 x 20 scope (almost x4) but it almost has a complete true x1 at 90 ft at 100 ft and i think that is good enough and is really cheap at $160 plus is only 9" long and weight 8 oz and has ALOT of good reviews and made in the Philipnies.

Now i just need to find a good mount for it becuase the eye relief is 3 inches

    Any suggestions donmei?

  • Ive got this scope and its worth the money. Chinese crap is cheap for a reason, cause its crap.

Get the scope and a good solid one piece mount and you wont regret it.

  • Well in the end I went with an Aimpoint (I got a VERY good deal on it)

  • Did you decide on the Millet? I've been thinking about getting one.

I use a Truglo 2x42mm with a 1.5" MOA red dot. It's setup in the "scout" configuration, and allows awesome FoV. $100 at Cabela's..

  • Well i got an aimpoint for $130 (real btw) and after that i went with an TA33 acog

  • bender & scmidt short red dot?

  • Millett DMS-1

  • what kind of mount is that?

  • Scope mount? LaRue SPR.

  • i wouldnt rest the mag obn the ground like that....could cause a double feed

  • I've heard people say that and the opposite. Thought I'd try it out. Using the mag as a "monopod" gets you much lower to the ground than using a bipod or rest.

  • On some guns it can cause a misfeed, although I've never experienced it on anything other than a little Marlin .22
