  • Dear Manjula aunty, can you please tell me the technique of deep frying the koftas perfectly golden brown? when I do it, they break apart after a minute, even if the oil is hot enough to make the balls golden brown,

    If the mixture is too soft koftas will break

    i am a very bigg fan of ur recipes.. but i have a doubt.. i neve saw u using garlic or onion in ur recipes .. is there any reason?? basically my family too don't use these items that is the basic reason i like ur recipies also the way u explain things n video's i feel easy while cooking it..

    When you list the ingredients for the gravy you don't mention any red chili powder but then you add some to the gravy when you are cooking.

    How much red chili powder do you add?

  • aunty got a question..if i cook a dish that has been added half and half cream in it...can i keep the dish refrigerated after cooking and have the dish after two days ... my concern is while warming up after two days due to half and half cream used will the dish spoil?

  • Answer to guga 1958.

    I believe this is because Manjula is Jain. They don't use many root vegetables so as not to disturb the soil and kill any little animals in the soil.

  • aunty i have a bog question where do i find cream(malai) in USA ...all i find is heavy whipping cream or sour cream but not malai . and what to use if i dont find malai . i am in bay area have have access to variety of indian stores but they dont seem to carry malai

  • I added cashews saltana's and almonds to the kofta balls and I used the wheys liquid from the paneer in the sauce it was the best thing I have eaten yum yum your the best

  • What brand of garam masala do you use? I use McCormick. It's tastes good but I'm not sure how strong garam masala should be or if it's even authentic enough.

  • 35% cream or whipping cream. you can find it in the dairy section with the milk
