@MissHaruna1 Well it depends on how tall and wide you are. With mine I think I ended up buying 5x8 sheet of neoprene, as that was how they sold it for large quantities.

@Fireheart528 I had a friend who has an industrial sewing machine, so I had her sew the side seams, then I had stitched the zipper into the bottom of the fluke :)

@FWMGirl88 Thanks. I might end up buying one sometime. What do you think of having a swimming pool inside the house, as in it's the floor and the furniture is on raised platforms or made so that it can be in the water without any damage? You could wear your tail and swim anytime you wanted to. :)

The answer is NO, this fabric is actually quite buoyant and I've considered a weight system for my next tail, so I can actually sink better. lol

Your tail was coming off slightly. But anyway.. Love whatever the heck is on the fin part.. Ribbon or sumthin I think.. :D So I found a realistic fabric with sequins on it.. Barely noticeable but making it sparkly! :D I also found a dolphin monofin for the right shape.. I just need to figure out what they used in H20 to hide the zipper..

the way she swims is simple if u practice it. the name for it is the dolphin dive. Its where u swim with your feet together and using your body to swim. Divers do it all the time.
