Unlike other lame animes like bleach where the main guys can just go in without fear of death,naruto the anime and manga was more realistic in the fact a ninjas life was usally short and always full of danger and thus a lot of people die,and yeah itachi killed his clan becase madara was gonan wipe out the whole vilalge but itachi made a deal to kill off the uchiha caln that supposdly betrayed madara in exhcange for the vilalgers lives,however in the end sasuke becomes madaras next puppet the end

0:37, that's the girl named rin that transplanted obito's sharingan into kakashi's left eye. obito gave him that because kakashi became jonin and every one else gave him a present, plus obito was going to die anyway because he got crushed by boulders, the reason why kakashi also has that scar is because of the same guy that crushed obito, he was about to attack obito when kakashi jumped in front of him, obito was also madara's brother that died 14 years ago
