I was on Team Ecuador in '04... we were the ones that built that rust colored roof on the main buildings (6 years later I see all the roofing work is still not done- lol). We also dug the footers, laid the foundations, tied the rebar etc for the addition.
As for the people aspiring to go: it totally changed my life. I lost my faith and my positive outlook on life. I barely talked to my friends and family for weeks after coming home. If you want specifics, feel free to contact me.
