Oh god! That was brilliant ( hope I said correctly) Im a great fan of your works, voice, druid, everything :O Ty for existing xD Cheers from Brazil,Vinícius
You spoke it just fine! :) I'm So glad you enjoy my artwork, WoW, (and voice XD), thanks so much for taking the time to view my videos and comment: I really appreciate it!
I'm glad you enjoyed it! :D I am really really really glad I decided to add more room on the top and bottom of the composition as the curving demon and bit of extra foreground really helped o bring it all together, to me, and it feels a lot more dynamic than when I started. :)
Thanks for taking the time to comment, and I'm glad you enjoyed it!
Looks very nice, the contrast in the teeth and eyes are very nice. I would have thought that you would have put some darker values around the demon in the background to give him a darker feel, and a lighter feel for the knight. Not sure the background of this story, but that's my two piece. Very nice, I also like the direction of the piece and how you blurred out the background so much and that piece of the foreground. GJ, would love to see you slap some color onto that thing.
Though I don't think I pulled the image off QUITE as I intended, the beastie being a bit more "faded" was actually an attempt at atmospheric degradation, wherein objects closer to us have more visual contrast (and "sharpness"), and receding objects contain less visual contrast (and if it's in color: usually more of a "blue" hue the further and further back you go, if you think of ever-more-distant mountains, for instance) (all things equal, of course).
Now that doesn't mean I pulled it OFF well here, but that's what I was going for. ;)
I'm not sure I'm going to continue this piece in color, but I DO plan on posting some of my colored art here as well (there is one piece up so far if you look through my videos and find "Rochelle"). But I'm glad you enjoyed this one. :)
Thanks again for taking the time to watch it, comment, and leave me C&C: I really appreciate it!
Thanks! I'm glad you liked the changes. :) It took a bit for me to figure out how I wanted to alter it to get the right "feeling" across, but I definitely think it was an improvement over the original pose (even minor as hte changes were).
I'm glad you liked this! I'm going to see if I can't force myself to do a bit more art. I can't believe it was almost six months since my last peice. Oh, the slack! *laughs*
Thanks for the compliments, and I'm glad you enjoyed the video! (And only the best wishes in support of whatever creative outlets or hobbies you enjoy :) ).
I was planning on adding color, but I think for now I'll keep it grayscale. Who knows: I might revisit it in the future though. :) It was definitely interesting trying to get the dynamics of hte scene across without color, I'll tell you that much! :)
I'm glad you liked it, and thanks for the compliments!
*laughs!* Yeah, but as I enjoy arena/pvp, it's really nice getting back in a creative "groove." :) I'm still quite a ways off from where I want to be (skillwise), so forcing myself to keep at it can be a bit of a struggle with how busy I am, but it's wonderful when I can finally make the time and just.... go for it. :)
I'm glad you enjoyed the art, and thanks for the support!

Personally...I think you could have one a better job on Season 4 designs than the Blizzard artists did.... =D
oNerveo 3 years ago 2
Season 4 gear is.... not my favorite. :-/ I don't like how we went from "Ohhh! Druidy stuff!" To "Here! Have an emo-helm and some metal stuff!"
Ah well, suppose we can't love it all, but I'm glad you think highly enough of my art that you'd even compare it to the in-game stuff. ;)
Thanks!
