  • We should all be Reformed in our understanding of scriptures. Calvinism is the uncompromising truth of scripture that accepts even the parts of the bible that people want to hide from like Predestination.

  • the pope is now apart of the U.N, and now he has made a new doctrine that says that protestants is not a true church. something like that. the pope is surely now the antichrist for sure. we should watch those who have powers. if it gets out of hands then he is not for GOD.

  • Thats not a new doctrine, thats been a part of Catholic doctrine for ages. That however does not deny that we are believers or that we will be saved.

Catholics define a church through apostolic succession. Since we don't believe in that then we are a faith group to them but not a church.

They do consider the Eastern Orthodox Church to be a church. Just a hereodox church.

BTW I'm Lutheran not Catholic but sometimes I know they are misunderstood.

  • Martin Luther was great..... but in the end... he fell. he murdered and hated Jews. that's not right.

  • i'm a catholic, and i'm negative toward luther. nevertheless i wouldn't criticize him for his attitude toward jews. i don't think he hated jews as an ethnic group. he probably hated the religious group known as the jewish religion. the jewish religion is rotten. the jewish religion reveres the tenakh and the talmud. the tenakh is great, yet the talmud is bad news. jesus loved the tenakh, but not the talmud. the jewish religion is not the religion that jesus and his apostles followed.

  • He didn't murder Jews, but he did hate them. So did everyone else at the time.

And country gardens is right, he hated followers of the religion and not the ethinic group.

He had hoped his reformation would bring all the Jews into Christendom. When this did not happen, in his old age he became angry at the Jews. Its not right of course, but people like to totally shut the man down because of this. If you are protestant, there is NO reformation without Luther.

  • Wouldn't (Mother) Ann Lee who founded the Shakers count among these good people? She and the Shakers urged people to live as Christ commanded: in community, in celibacy, in poverty and in confession.

  • Believe me when I say this - I am paying dearly for leaving the errors of Catholicism...being shunned and Catholics want to argue with me, just as the pope did with Martin Luther. I can relate with Luther, and he did not recant, and I will not either. I follow not the pope, but salvation by faith alone.

  • Dear Kamikzr,

May the good LORD bless and encourage you for your faithful witness.

    With Christian love,

    Angela Wittman

  • I am troubled by the horrible things that Martin Luther said about the Jews - his comments were really ugly, virulent and deeply anti-semetic. Of course, he was influenced by his time, which was unenlightened, but I still find his beliefs troubling.

  • Salvation is by faith alone, you nimnul Catholics.......there is no purgatory, and no need to pray to Jesus' mother, and there is no need for indulgences. We have been saved. These Catholics need to delve into the truth.

  • Also, Martin Luther was a servant of God, and he is a good person. He never backed down, and he stood his ground, and did not recant, as the pope wanted him to do. He could not and would not give in to the error of Catholicism, courageous Martin Luther.

  • God bless Martin Luther, and he is highly respected by me. I have come to the truth, and the Catholics do not like it. They call me a Lutheran heretic, and sneer and jeer. Jesus was jeered and sneered at, and it is nothing to be ashamed of. I'm sure Luther was sneered and jeered at, also.

  • Yes, Martin luther was a wonderful person, and he is highlt respected by me. I do not like the stuff Catholics say about him, and we needed this Reformation.......God bless Martin Luther, he is sure in heaven with God.

  • I am a Lutheran Christian, and am proud of it. God was with martin Luther when he told the pope of the corruption and error Catholicism has. It is nothing but error, and I pray that other Catholics realize that what they are following is error.

  • Like sicilianboi83, I also was utterly devoted to the Roman catholic Church. I was a true to the Pope Catholic, a devout Mass goer, and went to confession on occasion, prayed the Rosary, etc. But, with God's help, I have come to realize that Catholicism is error, and deceiving.

  • The Reformation is important, and many Catholics like to debate about this. And, they try to lure me back into error, but as Luther, I will not recant, and go back to the darkness of Catholicism.

  • I just sobbed when I read how important the Reformation, and was proud of Luther for standing up to the pope and the prelates.......I am a saved child of God, no longer following the errors of Catholicism.

  • I read God's word, and left the errors of Catholicism.......and it was rather difficult, but salvation is not found in the pope, or Catholicism. I have come to the truth, and thanks be to God!

  • I used to be a Catholic. I followed every little work righteousness and the Pope. I read God's work, and with his help, I left Catholicism. I admit it was not easy, but I did it, and I am a Lutheran now. God helped me out of the errors of Catholicism.

  • I praise God for men and woman at the cost of death judged every belief and doctrine by the word of God and lived by the word and were willing to die for it to. Righteousness by Faith. Praise God for men who stood against the "Holy" Roman Church after finding there doctrines to be non-biblical and blasphemous. Dealing with torture, murder, burned alive, fed to lions, drowned, hanged, beaten to death,... by the "Holy" roman Church they still would not yield.

  • Dear Mark797,

God bless you. I am honored to be your sister in Christ Jesus.

  • It is written Isaiah 8:20 To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them. Matthew 4:4 But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.

  • I thank God for his word for it is written John 8:31 Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed;

32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

  • I love my Protestant Heritage. Thank you for this awesome video.

  • I am completely and utterly devoted to the Holy Roman Church...I pray that their will be a unity between Protestants and your Roman Catholic brothers and sisters. If it is in God's plan...I hope to meet my Protestant brothers and sisters under the Eternal Light of the Holy Eucharist and the Holy Scriptures.

    God give us peace.

"O Mary conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to Thee! Bring us to Your Son!!"

  • @sicilianboi83 Where does it say in scripture for Mary to pray for us? We pray to the Lord not Mary. That is evil.

  • Marvelous - enjoyed it thoroughly, and loved the music you put with it. Thanks!

  • I love my Catholic Faith and everything about it.

I'm happy you love yours as well ^^

  • Yikes! I'm viewer 666!
