That;s amazing they found out so young, some kids feel out of place, but don't know how to figure out what's wrong and don't know they're trans until their teens,
I consider myself part of bigender. I don't feel I'm a woman or a man because I have qualities of both. My sex and my body is female but I don't really care about fashion and what's cool. I wear comfortable clothes weither other people like them or not. Also depends on my mood and if I want to feel pretty or I just don't care
What the mother is talking about those people who did all the junk @ 8:13 are they morons? Are they? Seriously, those kids who were 12-13 (I am 14) threw Josie's scooter and if I saw 'em I'd kick their asses.
On one hand it's hard for me to think kids this old know who they truly are. On the other hand, as a transgendered 18 year old, it would have saved me lots of depression, anxiety, and suicidal tendencies if I had transitioned that early....
I wish we could choose who we wanted to be before we were born. Like if we wanted to be a girl or a boy. I'm a girl and I like being a girl but it would be really cool if
We had a choice. It sucks cuz these kids (or anyone) can't choose and that's just who they are they can't change...
I feel a bunch of mixed emotions and I can relate but I'm born as the sex I am that God made me so I decided that I'm just going to have the traits of the opposite sex but I'll still take care of the major responsibilities of my gender.
It is my hope and desire That all parents of gender questioning, or gender sure (just not what they were born) can be listened to and heard for the wonderful individuals they are. And it is true, there are mean people in the world. But I have trouble with the "label" conservative being used to demonize those horrible people. I am conservative and I am transgendered. I am not like them.
thank you for this wonderful and poignant video. It is my hope and desire That all parents of gender questioning, or gender sure (just not what they were born) can be listened to and heard for the wonderful individuals they are.
Mercy triumphs over judgment. Everyone is equal in the eyes of god. If you don't accept who others are as people, then at least please... please.. show some mercy. Practice what you preach for ONCE.
I agree with everyone, Josie is most definitely a little girl and knows this, but all the difficulty around this is NOT because of a so called transition, its all the damn weight put into the gender of a child by adults. It sickens me that people cannot just let kids develop into who they are without negative scrutiny if it doesn't match up to expectations. Scrutiny is for the kid who tortures little animals, not for the kid who just wants to be who they are.
This is encouraging so many stereotypes. That playing with a skirt makes a child gay or transsexual? People are frightened of the ambiguity that comes with gender-variant children. Not to say that these children aren't transsexual, but this show uses all sorts of language that promotes all sorts of misconceptions.
beautiful.

I don't know why people always need to bring God up when it comes to things like this. God has nothing to do with transsexualism.

Why is it that God made us one way but some feel another way?
TaylorCValentine 1 year ago
@TaylorCValentine
God makes us one way , and we are expected not to question it.
But God does want us to question everything.
God allowed people to get hurt or ill on Earth.
I like to think Earth is a big battleground and test.
We battle the Earth , so we don't give into all it's problems or pleasures.
The people that give into the propblems and pleasures of the Earth , are incapable of getting into heaven.
Heaven is for people who want heaven , not for people that want Earth.

Such brave kids! They are very lucky to have parents that support them.
Not many children grow up with loving moms and dads.
