Lazar Berman has been a legendary pianist. In fact, only few pianists are able to play this very difficult piano sonata such a beatiful way like Lazar.

I remember the recital i visited live, great Lazar Berman, another star in the sky of Russian pianists, dicovered by Karajan for [Western]-Europe in the 70´s. The concert was sensational.
